Well, as I said, I guess it depends of where you live but at least where I live I've never listened her on the radio (apart of shake it off) and I talk at work with people in her 20's and for them Taylor is like Madonna... A woman with success but they don't know one single song from them. In fact from Taylor they just know "Shake it up" and from Madonna just "Material girl". But ask them about Shakira (for saying one) and all of them think she sells more than Madonna in the 80's or Taylor now.

Maybe where you live they are all day playing Taylor everywhere... That's why is very difficult to know the truth. As @prayer said before here all they talk is about the money she makes and the admiration is for how she gets the money, not for her work. About what you say about Lady Gaga or Britney... I've listened to them everywhere at the time they start to get famous and they still play them on the radios something that I can't say about Taylor (and as I said, I'm talking about the reallity where I live. Maybe in the rest of the world is completly different).

Let’s be honest, I’m from Spain too and I don’t like Taylor Swift, but it’s very hypocritical to say that Shake It Off is her only well known song. She is seen on TV multiple times, she is heard on the radio, supermarkets, malls and shops. For example: Lover, We Are Never Getting Back Together, I Knew You Were Trouble, Blank Space…

The fact that we don’t like her music and we prefer Madonna all over doesn’t make her irrelevant or a one-hit wonder, let’s be honest.

And please don’t come for me, I’m not a TS stan, I prefer B-Day Song, Score, Trust no Bitch and Spanish Lesson over any of her hit songs.

Goodbye To Innocence morphed into Fever, true. However, they were both on the album at some point, so Goodbye To Innocence must have been the Just Say Roe version because it‘s the version that was developed after Fever was recorded. Madonna hated pretty much every earlier incarnation of Goodbye To Innocence. So, the released version (along with its dubs) must have been the one she actually liked.

They changed the entire song, so that it wouldn’t sound identical to Fever. In the end it was replaced with Did You Do It at the very last minute.

Thanks for this info!!!! I’m sure there’s at least another demo of GTI then, closer to the released one but without Nikki’s vocals

Which version would have made the album?

Number 4 I guess. Chances are:

    - Maybe they used this instrumental or a very similar one to record the demo of Fever

    - Or maybe GTI evolved to a more polished form (closer to the instrumental of Fever) and then they switched the lyrics to Fever. I’m sure this is what happened, the demo 4 for me sounds more like a concept demo than an actual demo itself.

Although I love the GTI lyrics, I think the ‘93 version is the right one, they finally got it sound right

  4. As someone here said, instead of swapping tracks, I would rather have an EP with bonus tracks that I always felt missing from this compilation:

    The Look Of Love

    Spanish Eyes

    Promise to Try

    Bad Girl (Edit)

    In This Life (Edit)

    Love Tried to Welcome Me

    I Can’t Forget (Unreleased)

    Indian Summer (Unreleased)

  5. Well I remember a dream when I was about 7-8 years old where I was playing FFVIII (yes, you can call me a nerd if you want) and there was a great forest that I couldn’t manage to reach before that was called Hollywood, and Madonna’s song was playing on the background.

Then there was a town with an old mill, and when you got there, there was a cowgirl Madonna that you had to fight.

  6. I will try again!!

The beat of BIM starts, leading to the "who do you think you are (cause I'm a bad bitch)" part, then she screams "WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE????", and then Nicki Minaj says: There's only one queen and that's M-Dolla, bitch!

    Then the second song starts:

02 Back That Up to the Candy Shop / Who Do You Think You Are (Mashup)

Madonna is dressed as M-Dolla but with the hair as in the BTUTTB single cover, with 5 drag queens dressed up as the Spice Girls doing the original choreo.

  7. The lights go down and then The Enlightenment is played as an intro, followed by "who do you think you are (cause I'm a bad bitch)", then she screams "WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE????", and then Nicki Minaj says: There's only one queen and that's M-Dolla, bitch!

Then it starts the first song:

01 Back That Up to the Candy Shop / Who Do You Think You Are (Mashup)

Madonna is dressed as M-Dolla but with the hair as in the BTUTTB single cover, with 5 drag queens dressed up as the Spice Girls doing the original choreo.

Now that I think about it...

    Bad Girl :Madonna034:

    Rain :Madonna034:

    Erotica :Madonna034:

Why is it so hard :Madonna034:

    Deeper and Deeper :Madonna034::Madonna034::Madonna034:

This titles also have double meanings:

    - Secret Garden

    - Hard Candy

    - Ring My Bell

    - Liquid Love

    - Love Hurts

    - Let Down Your Guard (although this one is very explicit)

Nah cause playlists didn’t have the power they do now in 2009. It was always gonna be an album as her contract was closing.

Then she should have done what she done with It's So Cool (a dance remake by Paul Oakenfold) with other unreleased songs and...voilà!! A new album that closes her contract!

    1. Celebration

    2. Revolver (feat. Lil Wayne)

    3. It's So Cool

    4. Broken

    5. Revenge

    6. Liquid Love

    7. Animal

    8. Across the Sky

    9. Funny Game

    10. Keep the Trance

    11. Triggering

    12. Can't You See My Mind
