First, I'm not a gay man. I'm a woman who has a Christian family and was taught to respect everyone, despite of their political, sexual, or spiritual beliefs. Stop assuming stuff for your own good and the people around you. This is nuts.
 

Yeah, and it's sad. I understand that some people are holding onto something that doesn't seem to be coming anytime soon. But the fact that they took the time (even if it's 30 seconds) to do this in order to convince other people about that idea that “something is coming”, it's such a weirdo behavior. And it's what really bugs me off: how the information can be so easily twisted and shared to match with the altered vision of reality of someone. 
I'm sure that we will get something interesting to look forward in the near future because… it's Madonna! And I know that the lack of new announcements and/or musical projects are getting to the nerves of some fans, but this kind of fake stuff always leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Is this a Gaga thread or a Madonna thread? 

Uh she was never that great at doing videos. Just Dance looked like a rip off of Fiona Apple, Poker Face was Goldfrapp meets Kylie, Eh Eh was Borderline, Love Game looked like a Britney Xtina slutty video, Bad Romance was Marilyn Manson doing the Nobody Knows Me Choreography from RIT. I always felt she had the benefit of being artistic because she wasnt pretty. If she was pretty, she'd be seen as just any other vapid popstar. The only thing i can say is that her videos were edited AMAZINGLY! she really hid the fact that she can't dance for shit and moves like someone who got the polio vaccine a day late. Rihanna and Katy Perry really were the ones who had great videos even when people werent watching Mtv. They are the ones who really deserve the kudos in that pop age. Don't even get me started on Telephone. Pure shit.

I remember all the hype of how controversial the video was despite it not even being shown yet and the catholic church was literally starting to condemn it and she felt she was having such a madonna moment then it premiered and the catholic church decided not to condemn it because they didnt even understand it to say it was blasphemous.

Valerie Young said a few days ago that it would have been financially impossible to bring the tour to stadiums, so they chose the beach of Copacabana as the final show for the tour (with obviously the tremendous help from a bank to make it happen).

It'l probably end up with a BAT situation: one tour movie featuring behind the scenes shots and glances from different countries (costume changes, ball guests...) and the more regular TV broadcast from Rio, slightly re-edited for better transitions.

Sure, Rio is very nice but hush, don't show the beach. You know, like the Paris Olympics featured too much of the Eiffel tour and it drove viewers away.
When your venue is Copacabana filled with 1.5 million people, of course you'll flaunt it.
and that too, we all agree that M's fanbase is 100% virgin & prude material no touching no pda.

I've said this many times by this point but I really don't know what a lot of folk expect for an artist like Madonna. Her last tour did amazingly. Her streaming numbers are better than most of her peers. She featured on a big song last year and now her music in the biggest movie of the year. People didn't even know the Deadpool thing had been arranged a few weeks ago and now are having fits about how they think it should have been played. Chill out! Madonna is a woman about to turn 66 with nothing to prove.

I understand everyone’s frustration here with how her team mishandled this, but also I don’t think a push from her would change the situation.
Comparing it to A Deal With God feels weird, Kate Bush was under the radar for decades, before it blew up on Stranger Things. The pandemic was ravaging, and everyone needed a lift up also, and how it was framed in the series was just ideal for that. But Like A Prayer never really went away anywhere. She just performed it in front of 1,5 million people, she did it on Eurovision, on almost every tour in the last 20 years, Super Bowl… it was also on The Idol, just last year. It’s a gold standard by now and of the most recognised and well loved songs… like ever.
As Bye Bye Bye, it’s also a completely different situation? Kids on Tik Tok are hungry for anything Y2K these days, also they are in a ripe age to get nostalgic for their childhoods, of course it’s doing big.
Let’s just take it for what it is - a cute nod to our Queen, and some extra streams in time for her b-day.
