Unfortunately, it's true. Why do we have to wait for so long? In 30 years from now, probally almost all of us and Madonna will be dead and mostly of the new generation and the new ones to come will not care about her legacy. We should celebrate her legacy while she and we're alive. The Celebration Tour was a very good example about that. Madonna refuses to be seen as a legacy singer, but unfortunately she's not a trend as a contemporany artist for almost 2 decades. Her last solo big hit was Hung Up. I wish she still release a new album and new songs, but it's time to embrace her legacy.

Those songs were never #1 dance hits. I love both of them, but the song from You can dance that really played on the radios was Spotlight. 
And Causing a Commotion was really a #1 dance hit.

So, I cried for at least 15 min straight when she took the stage.  Her energy all night was top notch. I didn’t see her lose her timing at all through the night. She was so happy, which made me even happier. I was probably last to leave the seats as I sat there stunned. I had not seen her since 1990 due to many many unfortunate events. Left the venue enthralled, loving my Queen even more, if that is possible.

It has perpetuated a mass-scale shortened attention span where young people crave a brief, less-than-three-minutes "song" that relies almost entirely on a quirky hook that can be used as a 'sound' in viral tiktok trends. The demand has become so prevalent that artists have literally spoken about how their labels push them to make songs suitable for tiktok trends, which is the structure I just described. It has caused popular music to trend toward being shorter and less substantive.
