Honestly speaking, her Super Bowl performance in 2012 was so amazing and literally close to the perfection... I ABSOLUTELY don't MIND she has never done this or that song previously.
Gosh, it was so amazing it even made me like GMAYL for a moment... Very short moment, but still! It was like.. Imagine having BDay song from MDNA album as your the absolutely most favorite Madonna song for a moment (I know pretty unimaginable, but it happened.. For like 3 seconds to me with GMAYL after her 2012 Super Bowl show)

But technically that is “fake”. It’s not the real thing from the artist.

And sadly many fans do try and pass their creations off as the real thing especially on YouTube labelling them as “official” or “unreleased”. It’s deception and sadly most casuals will believe it. Hence the negative connotation towards “fan made” that a lot of people have.

@DanK A.I. stuff in general is very interesting but at the same time, it scares me, LOL. I hope we don't end up in a future where A.I. and real stuff sound/look the same.
@maddy1111 Fake is something put out as real, with the intention of deceiving people. IMO it's offensive to call fan made stuff fake.

I honestly believe the Celebration Tour changed her and helped her find a confidence again.
She used to be on the top for decades and then it was suddenly a flop after flop (MDNA, RH, MX) for her for the last couple of years  (+ ageism) which takes its toll for any artist, especially considering she is queen of pop always looking to the future and not relying on past successes like all the others in her age (clearly she doesn't want to be a legacy artist at all). But during Celebration Tour she finally felt the love of all fans again all over the world + sold out shows, amazing reviews, Rio.. It has boosted her career once again, and clearly she is finally enjoying herself again. I am so, so, sooo happy for her!
Something was simply slightly off with her performances with Maluma or during Eurovision, but since Celebration Tour has started until this moment in NYC Pride, this is Madonna in full power again as we haven't seen her for years. The Queen is back (even if she never left). Makes me almost cry seeing her this happy (and owning the stage again!)

Well, that's what I wrote few posts back
"Not mentioning 4 Minutes where Warner (again) made an absolutely right choice from commercial point of view pairing her with Justin at that time. So yeah, I really believe she had a chance going further in years 2012-2019."
And I don't see anything wrong with that, it was still Madonna's song featuring Justin, Warner did a right choice and delivered a mega hit for her.

It's a very interesting discussion happening here.
I understand the deal with LiveNation, It made her a huge amount of money, and I completely understand why she signed with them at that time. However the other point of view would be if it was really worth it (not from money point of view).
We can think whatever we want about Hard Candy, but she was still huge at that time. Sticky and Sweet being her biggest tour, 4 Minutes being a huge hit in US etc. Warner actually did a good job to keep her relevant.
Deal with LiveNation made her money, but the main question here is if it was worth it having multiple years of messy eras (MDNA, Rebel Heart, Madame X) and, let's be honest, significantly dropping her status and relevancy as marketing genius and Queen of Pop. We can talk here about ageism in pop music as well, but I strongly believe the drop wouldn't be so drastical under Warner leadership. At least, eras wouldn't be such a mess and Warner would actually care much more about albums becoming hits (and trying to have a few hit singles). What happened after moving to LiveNation was they simply didn't care about any of the albums there at LN (naturally) and the albums (especially MDNA and Rebel Heart) basically became only ammendments and reason to tour,as I see it.

At this point I would be only repeating myself, but still... Warner gave her at least 4 minutes, a huge hit in US, one of her biggest, that's more than enough. It would be naive to expect from her to have 3-4 success singles from one album in last 00s and in 10s. Like I said there would've definitely been some sort of drop past Hard Candy, but at least her albums and especially singles would have got a slightly better treatment with Warner than LiveNation gave her and she would have seen some chart success. I am certain of that.. Because clearly, you can barely do any worse than LiveNation did for Madonna. But that's my point of view, we might as well agree to disagree

I mean I don't think the Warner situation was bad. They stuck by her through thick and thin. The whole Erotica debacle, the American Life debacle and managed to put her back on top with Confessions. I couldn't pick a better singles run from any of her Warner albums except for maybe Beat Goes On from Hard Candy and Nobody Knows Me & Mother & Father from American Life but they still supported her with loads of endorsement deals a successful tour and worked on an albeit scrapped boxset.
So she didn't get to pick Impressive Instant and Candy Shop as singles. I'm sorry...Warner were right on that one and were proved even further right when she had the option to pick singles and A&R the album tracks from her interscope albums. Hard Candy was already proof she had checked out in many aspects. Of course we don't know what was going on behind the scenes there could have of course been other issues. If anyone has any intel that would be interesting. For Madonna to go back to them after diminishing returns out on her own speaks volumes to me. There's a whole load of other labels that would have her but the truth is she know where her bread is buttered. Let's hope the balance of power between them is an equilibrium. Hopefully a, one new album - one re-release ratio.

I am not saying she wouldn't have suffered a drop, only saying the eras wouldn't be such a mess as they were, a drop would have been slightly less significant because Warner would have actually cared much more about albums becoming hits (or at least tried to have a few hit singles), which Live Nation did not at all. For them, the albums were just necessary ammendment to the tour and it is pretty obvious they didn't give a poop promoting her music in any way, it was only about tours for them.
But yeah, what happened happened, we cannot change it.
