Music standards 10 or 20 years ago are different from how they are now. from how it was in the past 30 years, those standards were broken and shaped by Madonna with her own business and artistic standards. Taylor is nowhere close to shaping anything since her records can easily be broken by one of her peers.

I'm pretty Beyonce was the one to beat her in touring. She technically did surpass Madonna's Sticky and Sweet first. Bey just got lazy and ended her tour after 56 stops. Records by artists right now doesn't set any legacy standards since one record can be beaten in a few years. Its the same with movies. Madonna held a lot of her records for decades.

Commercially, with the new standards that have changed - yes, she has surpassed Madonna
artistically and culturally, she has not

I watched it last night and I laughed out loud every time Aubrey pukes/spits making Patti gag.
Patricia has been a great inspiration on Broadway, but her attitude is acidic as her punani area.
She's 75 now, Cher and Elton has dropped the drama, IDK why she's still sour and holding to this almost 30 year grudge that Madonna probably has no idea about.
 
 
 

No. for her standards, you know at that time she can do better. the first act was good but the 2nd was meh with the slacklining and the awkward shuffling with one of the members from LMFAO holding her leg up.

The final act was good. 
The whole performance was meant for TV and it did set a standard. if you were at the arena, the whole set up was VERY underwhelming because the stage was small. later acts did better (specifically Katy Perry), as her team studied Madonna's performance and definitely utilized the same mechanics and used the ENTIRE stage for a choreographed show. 

Y’all are something else. 

Her team always stay so current with what's happening.

The more I look at this, there is something definitely off about it.  I think it's a guy.  Also, I think someone altered the image, specifically the chest of the shirt to make like the person has breasts. Look how the design (circle) on the chest is warped looking. Also, if you look really close around the back of this person biceps, you can see more definition then Madonna has at the time. There is muscle that she didn't have at the time. Also, look at the middle of the forearms, there is too much definition there as well.  The neck even looks as if there is an adams apple.

Yes that's why I found it sad and felt bad for him... I can imagine the publisher trying to get dirt from him and literally all the "bad" things he said... were not really that bad.

You asked me about my ‘breakthrough’ before and it was in 2004 when Madonna and her former manager, Caresse Henry, decided to part ways.
Madonna wasn’t sure if she wanted another manager, so she asked if I would run her companies. From there, one thing led to another and I managed her in all areas – and Guy and I co-managed her in music.
Guy and I were the perfect foils for one another, as we balanced each other’s strengths and interests so naturally. We had a strong working relationship, so we decided to expand the way we worked and co-managed her in all areas until 2008.
WHAT WERE THE HIGHLIGHTS DURING YOUR TIME IN TEAM MADONNA?
Live 8 [2005]. We had less than a month to prepare, so it was a steep education and it was incredibly high stakes. In addition to traditional broadcast, Kevin Wall had the ambition for it to be the largest livestream ever – I think the viewership was around 1.5-2 billion people, which was exhilarating.
Plus the entire Confessions On A Dance Floor campaign. Stuart [Price, producer] and Madonna made a career re-defining album, which meant we had phenomenal music as our starting point, and from there everything just lined up: the music, the styling, the artwork, the videos, the collaborators and the commercial and critical reception to the album.
The Live Nation 360 deal that we negotiated for Madonna. At the time, it was a new style deal that highlighted the respective approaches Guy and I supported, with an innovative artist willing to challenge the norm. The deal would not have been realised without the absolute trust we had in Arthur as a promoter and partner.
AND WHAT DID YOU LEARN FROM BEING PART OF HER WORLD?
