the videos were doing all the promo, and she was mega successful with the minimal promo.. and it made rare interviews and performance even bigger events.

Even tv interviews were scarce in the 80’s. It was part of her brand, being a kind of enigma and out of reach.

Michael Jackson and Prince did even less tv performances and tv interviews than she did.

In Madonna's hayday MTV was the promotion. Her videos played constantly so I don't think other promotion was needed.

Wow ... I'm so curious about the unreleased tracks (we know there is one called React and now Can't you see my mind and the electro version of Xtatic Process).
Said that, I'm not a huge fan specifically of their writing together when it comes to acoustic stuff, they're good in making noicey and dancey stuff: I agree about Die another day being among the best M productions, but I think their electrofolk songs are melodically too basic and, even when good like Love Profusion or I deserve it, it has a strong influence on the result.
I think their best collab in terms of creativity is the Music album (Music, Impressive instant, Nobody's perfect - when vocoder seems saying something nd not just put there without a reason, Paradise, Don't tell me), their work on Madame X had points of exellence (BATUKA - such a gem and, yes, it's all about how the sounds reinforce the soul and the spirit of the whole message, Extreme Occident, Killers, I don't search I find, Ciao Bella)  and very low and messy failures in terms of experimentation (God control and, the most guilty one , Dark ballet, wich would have been such a good track herself). 

Agree with the comments that her instagram/social media is off putting  - too many pointless photos and overdone photoshop giving a fake look. Am not against photoshop at all and photos have been polished and edited forever even before photoshop but needs to look real however much improvement is made 

I really respect your peaceful response. Thank you so much for explaining that it’s disappointment not hate. Believe  me, there are some things I’m not fond of for what she’s done. But in the end, like you , I still love and support her too. That’s the most important thing. Thanks again! 

Absolute trash. He can't style, light or set a scene like any of the other greats she's worked with. The overuse of filters is a giveaway that his images have little to know substance to begin with. He has degraded the royalty of what was once her brand. One is an icon, the other is simply, a con.

Totally agree. I wasn't much of a fan of Candy Shop until I heard this live version.  Since then, I have been able to go back to appreciate Sticky and Sweet's live version too.

Candy Shop for sure - best version was the Rebel Heart tour amazing baseline

Great album, not her best, not her worst. Visuals, artwork, music... coherent and she put a lot of effort on it. But that doesn't mean that everything was well executed. The album is very experimental, they tried to promote the most 'commercial' songs like Medellin, Future, or I Rise, but it looked bland and confusing before it was released. If she wanted to be 100% experimental, they should push that idea further and not trying to do everything at the same time, like having Maluma, Anitta, Quavo... 
It's an album to listen once and with some space before the next time, it doesn't have the 'repeat' factor. It's the way to discover the messages, layers and the artistic vibe of the record. Also, very well mastered, it sounds amazing on good systems and also on small devices! 
I have the impression that Madame X Theatre was a disaster for her career as a touring act, though she recovered from it 100% with Celebration Tour. Very selfish, self indulgent, ego centric, disconnected from the real world while trying to be very on point... it looked forced, and altogether (promo, Eurovision, tour, COVID) gaves a feeling of a bad time on her life, dark and lost. Adding that to the violence of MDNA, and the bdsm of Rebel Heart... was like 10 years of dark vibe and music. Too much, wich is the thing that alienated a lot of her core public. 
It will be interesting to revisit it after new studio albums are released... it's the way to put things in perspective. 
 
 

Think the overuse of vocoder spoiled most of the tracks on this album as you don't get the same connection compared to when you really here her singing
I liked I Don't Search I Find and Extreme Occident plus Killers Who Are Partying though

I think the next best thing is the worst film she has been in - just so cringeworthy all the way through - awful film and acting 

Love Profusion for sure  - to get all the remixes and hopefully the Peters Lost in Space mix of Nothing Fail as the double A side 

I bet it's gonna be Human Nature 😂

She obviously likes it enough to repeatedly sing and include parts of the soundtrack on compilations and her tours.
