I played Music album this week: OMG i always loved it but how it sounds many decades later: modern, daring, delicious, and her voice: controlled, warm, in love, rich,..wow she was really in love for this, but yet with the Evita voice technique: one of her bests EVER. And genious coming from her Masterpiece ROL with something totally different but yet also a masterpiece. What years were those.

To me, artists like Michael Jackson, Madonna, Streisand, Whitney, Madonna, Beatles..are above everything we have these days. They are icons not matter the current popularity. Their songs are hyms forever.

Imagine was very flat vocally, for my taste.

Yes, the vocals were very plain and nasal, don´t know why. The entire Madame X sounds like that, but on 2004 she could have sounded at the studio much much better.

Well, I always loved it as a ballad, and you have the "like a" that is soo like Madonna. Gorgeous vocals, I could see it towards the end of the album, a la to have and not to hold. Maybe as a b side. It all depends on the production, but same can be said on the other demos.

Totally. It didn´t fit in the whole ROL project. A rarity.

Interestingly, some years ago she said that at that time she was behaving as Saintdonna cause Guy Ritchie wanted her that way, but that was not her real self so it all flopped. But I always thought it was her spirituality the cause of it.
