"Bedtime Stories" was a lush and expensive affair. Calling those songs B-Side material I mean, the ignorance. She was put to work with some of the best and most expensive producers of that era, Dallas Austin, Babyface, Nellee Hooper.
It was essential in the much needed at that point rebuild of her brand (with "Evita" later) and maybe she wouldn't even have a career now without that album. Plus she managed to combine the more obvious commercial moments ("Secret", "Take A Bow", "Forbidden Love") with the artistic statements ("Love Tried To Welcome Me", "Sanctuary", "Bedtime Story" and "Human Nature" singles and videos, both huge risks especially in the US after her longest #1 single ever).
It's a key album in her journey but sadly quite forgotten now.

Think it's a really underrated album - great vocals, songwriting and production too and flows well despite the different songwriters and producers involved and the era was great for starting to re-build public opinion after the Erotica era backlash without compromising her as an artist and a great step towards getting the lead role in Evita. Warners and her PR agent Liz Rosenberg did an amazing job. Remixes and videos for all 4 singles were fantastic - but there were better tracks than Human Nature that could have done better as singles and got more radio play but she had already acheived chart success from the album with Secret and Take A Bow and think she wanted to get a message out about the Erotica era by making Human Nature a single. I wish we didn't keep getting it on almost every tour.

Survival is amazing!

It was never a hit, but for her it is like a signature song and an important stament, so it´s always included on tours. For me it´s poor musically although I don´t hate it, and she shows no voice on it, cause it has no range, on the other hand I think it´s easy for her to sing live. I love what she did with in on MDNA tour, that moment on stage she is the center and she was amazing, but for example that one one the sticky tour was so boring and poor, I hate it.
 
And yes, Bedtime stories has so beautiful tracks that could have been more radio friendly and good hits, but I think it was important to say she had no regrets and the video is really amazing and she looks on fire on it, a very beautiful body and good dancing, goood concept, one of her best ever.

You know, I understand you, but she is 65,next tour could happen when she is already 70..she is used to be the main event and now, having a new pop album with almost 70 that probably is not going to get any airplay or sales as she was used to in the goold old days..what´s the need? Does she have the inspiration to write new material? The discipline to work on her voice? 
She worked hard for this tour, it was a success, she is well regarded again. So maybe it´s a good way to say goodbye and enjoying living. Maybe she always can record here and there, but tours like that? Sitting on a chair and sing with backing vocals? We´ll see. She once said she was never going to stop. But I have this sensation. She already did great, but I think she was really depressed at some point and now that this is a golden moment, who knows what are her plans. I would love a great new record, that´s for sure. Or if she tours again with the current looks and shape too. Most of all I want her to be happy.

I don't know if she will go on till she phisically can honestly. It can be, she said so multiple times actually, but I'm not sure. About the bacterial infections, I meant it about what it could have represented in terms of conscience, priorities and emotions for her. Age is a point but, I agree with you, I don't think she could retire because of her age specifically right now. Said that, she is 65 and she could do it really any time, we have to consider this. 
If I'd like her to go on till she has the strenght to do it, it depends on what she does. I love her and will always be grateful, but after MDNA I was quite close to let it go. The interest was so low after two such disappointing records, I neither was that excited when she announced she was back in studio on Insta, then the RH leak happened and most of those tracks ... I couldn't believe it  When I listened to Avicii's dance RH and WAOM, I was SURE she was finally gonna have a new hit, but the ageing thing and promo choices, not always on point, didn't let it happen. The tour was excellent and I found Madame X an interesting project, with MANY GREAT tracks (even if, also there, bad promo choices and some serious self indulgence didn't help it imo). Now she is back to her Warner home and I can't help but thinking good stuff is going to come: this tour was the necessary step to put things back into perspective and I can't see it as the end of it. That's why I honestly wouldn't be ready to say goodbye now

Once again the man is suffering of severe drugs addiction. He probably posts stuff at night when he's totally wasted on drugs and when he wakes up he's probably horrified by what he has posted and delete it. Typical. People shouldn't read too much into his posts. Madonna knows it and that's probably why she doesn't seem to be bothered. Remember when Courtney was totally wasted and throwing stuff at M at the VMA'S ? Keep in mind that Walliam is probably in the same state when he's writting those stuff... I'm not saying to be a drugs addict is ok to say mean things and that everything should be forgiven, i'm just answering to the people who don't get why he seems so bipolar on his posts and deletes some of them a few hours after posting them. 

William Orbit is battling with drugs addictions for a few years. He has explained it himself on various interviews. This can explains why sometimes his posts can look a bit harsh or bipolar.

At least it’s an honest opinion of one close collaborator, besides the usual: she’s great at the studio stuff, she added the snare drum…
Of course she might be super hard to work with and a total bitch sometimes there’s no way she would have gotten everything done in the greatest quality if she wasn’t. I see it more as a quality than a flaw to be honest 
And obviously he didn’t have to say it but here we are. Maybe he was drunk/high

MDNA - I can't even finish the 1st disc. After GMAYL, I fast forward to Masterpiece and stop playing... can't even remember the last track of disc 1, let alone playing the disc 2.
 
Rebel Heart - It feels like chewing a candle, so bland & hard to swallow. Fillers AFTER fillers... my god.... so this was what happened when she didn't have someone to QC her album... LFL is an epic failure as a lead single. Those that she'd shelved i.e. "2 Steps Behind Me" & "Trust No Bitch" sounds much better than 99% of RH album tracks
I can't even get through half of the songs on disc 1, hence almost 99% of my RH album are sealed except the Germany edition with "Autotune Baby"... BIG mistake.... AB is worse than shit.
 
MadameX - I HATE the old madam look cover. The lead single was a disappointment... too much Spanish too slow. "Dark Ballet".... it seems like there's only 1 note throughout the entire song and no climax. "God Control" sounds like she had a frog in her throat... disco + church choir feels like vodka + hand sanitizer. After 3 tracks, I lost interest and stop playing.
 
Suddenly I find WTG soundtrack more enjoyable than the above mentioned albums COMBINED.

Yes at that particular moment all her worries were about going on being the queen of pop and being super popular again, she didn´t care for being super innovative or controversial or in your face,  which would have been a Nobody knows me tour moment, which clearly never happened.
