It's a good song with a strong piano riff and snappy lyrics, of course it became popular. What's funny is how our girl and her team think she needs a "top" DJ or producer and android vocals for her to get attention. Maybe folks are simply happy to hear her real voice on a catchy tune.

It would have been fantastic if "Behind Me" arrived at #1 in an european country such as France, Great Britain, Italy or Germany.

 

BTW, I love this song, but you can clearly see that it's a demo! It's a bit boring because the music doesn't change at all throughout the song. there's no special effect. Or maybe it's better this way, if it was included in Rebel Heart, it would have been a mess.

I'm still thinking about this and I wonder if this was her team just testing the water to see if there was interest. Obviously there was plenty and hopefully she'll release a finished version.
