It depends. RH took so much time because Avicii was really ill and she was directing and promoting W.E. when she recorded MDNA. On the other hand, Like a Prayer (album) was written in a couple of weeks if I'm not mistaken, so you never know.

The outrageous number of songs last time around came from solely from her plan to make a double album. That ofcourse was rejected. So hence while the super deluxe to fit in a few more of the songs she would have probably wanted out there officially.
