I agree! WTF??  That's just ridiculous. Weird how it was added and removed as we get closer to Christmas.  @Prayerkinda hinted it may happen.

Well, Kylie's one features on:

- Please Stay single (2000);

- A Kylie Christmas EP (2010);

- Kylie Christmas album (2015);

- Kylie Christmas Snow Queen Edition (2016).

Naturally it's a much more widely known version than Madonna's. Even being more recent.

Essentially, it's already bigger than most songs that came out this year.  I think more promotion and a video, probably would have been a good idea too, but all the artists are probably reaping the benefits without putting much money into promoting it, since it's still highly "popular".
