Well technically neither, think more behind the scenes which may have aired on television, which is why this might be a particularly hard one. Think Madonna's favourite singer as well. Last clue I will give Madonna stated Rain was a tribute to this woman. Her favourite singer.

Okay I will give one last clue. This woman is technically part of a group and Madonna has been seen/heard singing their songs numerous times and usually gets the rest of the crew on films/music video shoots to sing with her. Madonna once said this woman "had the clearest, purest voice. I'm completely influenced by her harmonic sensibility."
