  1. Interesting prediction. I definitely agree with you on the bottom 4 with Cry Baby being the lowest. But I'll be pretty miffed if Back In Business and He's A Man are that low down cos they're a classy duo and deserve higher. And I can't see More getting higher than Back In Business or He's A Man, although I think it's a fun track. I think Sooner Or Later will be the highest out of the I'm Breathless tracks and will beat Hanky Panky. I also think that Justify My Love will be second behind Vogue, with Rescue Me pitching in at third place.
  2. Voted! I'm a fan of I'm Breathless. My favourite track on the album (with the exception of Vogue) is Back In Business. I think the lyrics for Back In Business are simply amazing, the most clever on the album, and the song in itself feels very Madonna. Her voice during the verse is so sweet and innocent and then she growls going into each chorus, showing that she's totally in charge. I have no idea if I'm in the minority over my love for this track, or if it's an undisclosed fan favourite, but anyone that needs to refresh their memory about I'm Breathless, and plans to listen to the album before voting, please give this track some close attention. It won't win the poll, but I think it's a real album highlight.
  3. Curtains - is the next megarate also including Justify My Love & Rescue Me?
  4. I think the more these polls go on, the more interesting and unpredictable the placings will get. Clearly Vogue will be the outright winner of I'm Breathless, but how will the Dick Tracy inspired tracks fall.
  5. Thanks, as always Curtains. Looking forward to the next one already ?
  6. Well, I love Like A Prayer, but I just adore Express Yourself. It's top ranking Madonna in my eyes. The energy that she packs into the live performances for Express Yourself....the song is incredible. Both tracks deserve the top two placings.
  7. Superb track. On a lesser album this would be first but it's up against 2 colossal musical giants. The black and white video which accompanied it is up there among her best. Deserves to be on a greatest hits collection (not just a ballads one).
  8. Express Yourself to win!! I'm feeling a pattern emerging here with Into The Groove and Open Your Heart winning the last two album polls. It's the faster, good feeling, dancefloor tracks winning.
  9. Holy Mary ? It's a good job I'm not actually betting with money on here.
  10. Ooooookay. 5.....Keep It Together 4.....Promise To Try 3.....Oh Father 2.....Like A Prayer 1.....Express Yourself Boom
  11. Hmmm. Bit harsh having this as 6th. Beautiful track, and it's another one that I thought deserved higher, but again it's the equally classy tracks that it's up against. Comforted by the fact that it's lowest rate was a 3, so nobody ranked it lower which is nice to know.
  12. But...what....utterly no!! Seventh??! Incredible track that should have been a single in 1989!! Should've been in the top 4 of this poll!!
  13. I love Dear Jessie, but I can see why it's come this low. Too many competitors on this amazing album. Predicting Cherish, Keep It Together and Spanish Eyes next....
  14. Top 3 prediction..... 3.....Oh Father 2.....Like A Prayer 1.....Express Yourself
  15. I actually couldn't care what the first release is. First Album, Hard Candy, Like A Prayer, whatever, it doesn't matter. I'd just like them to get on with announcing something so that we can see from the first remaster what this range is potentially going to look like. I honestly thought I was quite a patient person, but I hate silent limbo periods such as this where you know something exciting's on the horizon but you've got no choice but to wait for some date that you're not important enough to be privy to.
  16. Brilliant Top 5 tracks. Proof of what an absolutely incredible era this is. Even the bottom end of the poll (Can't Stop, Jimmy Jimmy, Love Makes) are still great album tracks. Santa Baby will always be a (festive) sack of shit though.
