Yup like i said in my previous post. I miss that site so much and when the second madonnarama came about it was so annoying that it wasnt him and as far as i know no relation.

"Like A Prayer" will be the first reissue, not "Like A Virgin", in time to get her extra coin from the "D&W" movie boost.

Announcement + pre-orders on her birthday, August 16th, plus first pre-release track: "Like A Prayer (Demo Version)".

Reissue release in late October/early November. Xmas market covered.

My bet at the moment.

They are releasing the silver edition of "Like A Prayer" in September, I don't think we are getting anything more than that.

Yeah, I have to agree.  It's just the silver edition we are getting for now.  It's no coincidence that they just announced the pre-order for the Silver edition, a day after the Deadpool/Wolverine just premiered.  If they were going re-issue a deluxe version of that album, they would have done it now.  Sorry folks, but I am starting to think, rather "deluxe versions"  re-issues, this is all we are getting.  I'm losing hope for anything more expansive.

Oh I am sure it does count.  It's just like most others here, I'm beginning to think these "silver editions" are the direction they decided to go with it instead.  I hope to be wrong, but like everyone else, it's exhausting to keep defending and thinking these "expanded editions" are actually coming.  And as you know I was a staunch defender of these coming.  Beginning to lose hope!

I agree, sadly. If you read the press release from Rhino about the Like a Prayer Silver Vinyl release, I think it’s quite telling….

“Madonna is reissuing LIKE A PRAYER this summer to celebrate the acclaimed album’s 35th anniversary. Pressed on opaque silver vinyl, it will be the second release from the Silver Collection, a series of limited-edition vinyl reissues celebrating 40 years of Madonna’s illustrious career. The Silver Collection debuted last year with True Blueand will continue to spotlight other Madonna albums in the coming months.”

I think the fact that it states “limited edition vinyl reissues celebrating her 40 years and there will be more silver vinyls to come”…….says to me this is all we’re getting and maybe some exclusive merchandise on her website. If we were getting boxsets, they wouldn’t bother with this release, they would release a vinyl with a full 2024 remaster to celebrate 35 years of the album. I’m guessing Like a Virgin will be the next silver vinyl in time for the 40th anniversary.
