But she loooks so much better. I hope she takes care of herself as she has been doing lately cause the change is very big and great.

Honestly, I can't believe some fans really believe she meant she's retiring. Do these people know Madonna? How long have they been fans to assume such ridiculousness?? The woman isn't going no where. Clearly, she's talking about the tour being over, referencing to Take A Bow. Obviously she's doing vocals and voice overs/dubs for the concert film.

There's so many easter eggs but here are some of my favs:
-During her first speech in Tampa she said "I was doing those exact dance steps back in 1985... on the Virgin Tour," in reference to Into The Groove.
-The jacket she wears in the 80s section, designed by Findikoglu, was inspired by one she wore when she was promoting Like a Virgin in Japan! Apparently she got it from a vintage store back then.
Also there is this one thought I've had about her performance of Holiday. I feel like the jackets are meant to represent how the gay community had to hide during this time, which is why the Keith Haring pattern is on the inside of her jacket since it still wasn't something to be discussed openly.

She also does some moves from her original performance of Everybody at Danceteria in 1982!

whiteheat reacted to Blue Jean in Rio de Janeiro live May 4, 2024
Yes I haven’t seen many comments about that. The main thing the haters are saying is constantly repeating that it was a free show and so 1.6 million is not really an achievement. Or mentioning that Rod Stewart had more or that Tina had the most for a ticketed event by a woman.
“if Taylor or Beyonce did a free show they’d crush this” blah blah blah.
The funny thing is other artists HAVE done free shows and got nowhere near this many people. And Rod Stewart was a NYE event, not strictly a concert.
Some people never want to give Madonna credit.

whiteheat reacted to androiduser in (Dreaming) Met gala???
I remember the year the MET gala had the Catholic theme, and e v e r y o n e here thought she would come as Joan of Arc, and they were oooohing and aaaaahing about how she's the perfect person to do the Joan of Arc look and it's the best idea ever... and then when she didn't, the narrative on the forum switched and all of a sudden Joan of Arc is something Madonna would never do because it's expected and tacky and whatever, and the black lace with crosses she wore was THE best idea and the most original and unexpected and... yeah
