Yeah, but who said that something special needs to happen on 40th anniversary? 
We are focusing on that as it is something mandatory, but why reissues couldn't happen on 30th anniversary (and noone compliant back then) ? Or why they cannot happen later in her career only on 50th anniversary (seems more special in terms of "anniversaries") 
You know what I mean.. Why 40th anniversary should be something super important everyone is clinging on regarding reissues?

Definitely real. It leaked along with concept drawings and notes for the Girlie Show and the Virgin Tour.
From what we know, the album was initially titled Girlie Show (inspired by the painting of the same name). I guess that was before she settled with Erotica as title track.

Anyone who's familiar with Madonna's early voice can clearly hear that it's not her on the record, but for the logest time this was a "fact"
It's even included on a horrible bootleg LP called Calendar Girl.
I have the VHS, so I haven't seen this disaster in 30 years, but here's what I remember:
Madonna's character, Bruna, was brutally raped by one guy. She told her army of lovers, and they managed to catch him and kill him. 
The "orgy" was like a weird excorsism, where the cast had a bizarre orgy to celebrate the rapist's death, and someone smeared blood over Bruna's breasts.
The film is beyond bad and I can really understand why Madonna tried to stop it.

Wouldn't it be cool if the song appeared as a hidden track on a future deluxe edition of Like A Virgin, and after the song she says: Yup, that WAS me!
(But no. I've listened to it so many times and I don't think it's her voice on the record...)

This may be a long shot, but I was looking at pictures last night from Fritz Lang's Metropolis, the movie that influenced Madonna's Express Yourself video.
Well. The headpiece Madonna wore during Nohing Really Matters, looks like a headpiece one of the female robots wore in Metropolis. 
That could be a nod to the video, and the Blond Ambition performance of, Express Yourself!

I don't think it matters whether she wants to release expanded reissues or not. She's on contract and has to deliver the goods.
Now, as we all know, Madonna is very slow, so it takes an absurd amount of time... But they'll come.
I think she'll release them when she works on the movie, to keep us happy.

Biopic mini series or split up in three feature length movies (released over 18 months or 3 years.) Her story is too broad for just a movie  
 
accompanied by re-releases of her albums in chronicle order including demos and new remixes. With one off performances for each album with a full band and background support from Donna and Nicki Harris, performing every song from each album. Like “storyteller” on MTV back then. 
 
each re-release could have a new track inspired by each album era.
