I think the whole Rebel Heart era was spoiled when the demos leaked. Madonna had no time to work on a more elaborate concept for the whole thing.

Since social media took over it's become more evident that people are craving for attention in a sense that's almost pathological. And I'm not gonna lie cause I do find some men on IG that are extremely attractive... but in general I can't stop thinking they're just insecure bastards. I currently use the UNAPOLOGETIC BITCH theme. It's easy on the eyes and I think looks the best out of all the others.

I've used Rebel Heart theme for a long time. I prefer bright themes rather than dark ones.

I think more importantly, one has to ask why this is an issue with you? They only remixed two of her songs. It's not like they were someone regular. The two songs they remixed weren't even hit songs. But I agree most of her remixes are crap for the last several albums. Though, I did like like the GIRL GONE WILD remixes.

I LOOOOOOOVE RedTop's Ghosttown, brings something very different and fun to the song. Not every remix has to be a (boring) "club" banger.

@discohub I agree! I love that mix. It's so cool. It's the only mix that I like that doesn't make me nauseous. The other mixes are just awful, especially how they slow down her vocals.

Hard Candy era is my least favourite ? hated the album cover and her overall image was way too trampy - its also when she stopped being a trend setter in music and just followed what every other artist was doing - rnb :(

I agree, Hard Candy was the end for Madonna really, I don't think she has recovered from that commercially although I've liked her albums since then
