  1. Is this legit or just made from the vocal stems?
  2. Warner US and Warner UK were different label and marketing teams, though. As soon as she took off in the UK the British team decided to fully capitalize on it, probably thinking, like most of the rest of the world then, that she was the flavor of the moment and her success wouldn't last. While the US team probably saw more in the medium/long term.
  3. Sometimes a few weeks later but yeah. I also remember a Prince release ("The Versace Experience") going on digital almost at the same time as the RSD release. I don't think there's a strict rule about not having that content on digital, just something they do maybe out of respect for the RSD tradition.
  4. I think Inside The Groove was BS in the end and probably speculating, just like the rest of us. Obviously for some reason she doesn't feel like it at this moment. Maybe originally they were meant to go along with the biopic, as noted by some fans, but plans about them changed when the overall movie plan changed and she went on tour. I think @steady75 commented that, but the rumored RSD "Bedtime Stories" EP will be the real test of what she and Warner are really willing to offer. If there are truly unreleased demos and stuff there or just simple edits or things we already have.
  5. Nothing big is coming this year, that's for sure. It's too late already. Our best bet is the supposed RSD Black Friday "Bedtime Stories" EP including actual rare material.
  6. @Alibaba just nailed it. Taylor's impact since she got not big, but legendary BIG (around the mid-late 10s) and after all her dramas with Spotify (seems like ages ago but it was only 2017 she didn't want to do anything with them - until she got her cash of course), the Taylor's versions... all is always about the money she generates. Read any piece about her impact in the last five years or about the recent tour. It's all money talk. The tickets she sells, the boost in the economy for the cities she plays live, etc. etc. Occasionally it translates into "power": the highest amount of VMAs, the full Billboard Hot 100 Top 10, things like that. But it's never or rarely about the music. Money is the anthem of success, yes, but it's also quite telling what most of this is about. She's one of the superstars of this generation and that's obvious and undeniable. And the girl can write a pop song. But the only comparison to Madonna is that they both are excellent marketers.
  7. I told you it was all a set up. There's NO WAY Katy has won a voting award at her current flop status. A JOKE.
  8. Did you "vote"? There was no process going on, just access to an URL (the ones I posted yesterday) saying "Thank you for your vote". It was all a set up.
  9. I told you it was set. No voting going on there. Sad.
  10. Supposedly "True Blue" would be next. The original single release was September 29, 1986, so around the end of this month.
  11. But those type of actors, singers, authors... walk around like everyone owed them something. And it's not the case. She can be super talented but if she comes across this bitter every time she opens her mouth, what's the point? Madonna has had an acting career and has been in successful movie projects (big flops as well). "Evita" was a hit and Madonna was part of that success. That's a fact, Putone likes it or not. First thing a professional artist does is respecting other artists. Holding grudges for THREE decades... not the best look, don't know.
  12. You can enjoy the movie or not (it's not everyone's cup of tea), but she's PERFECT in "Evita". Perfect. There's nothing bad about her there.
  13. Nah I don't think vinyl is coming, but a way of playing with the retro factor of the song for the YouTube upload. And she should be as artist for the choir version on Spotify too, yes.
  14. Just posted on YouTube (official uploads): Better late than never, I guess... Now upgrade the official video, M team do that challenge.
  15. Oh, Patti Putone again. One of those, like Ruby Wax, that only make the headlines when they talk s**t about Madonna, when their link with her has been MINIMAL. Sad souls. This is what people see when they think of Evita in fiction: Get over it, Putone. It's been almost 30 years already.
