Oh yeah, 93-94 best years ever in terms of look choices: the Saturday Night Live Bad girl Fever performances, the Bryant Gumble interview, the red long Adidas dress, the Rain Video, the Gilrlie Show costumes and looks all around the world (they were all amazing: the back coat and dark sun glasses in London, the Gautier red and white stripes sweater in Paris, the hot top at the Australian party), the David Letterman interview dress with those boots, the whole Peter Lindbergh shoot, the hot pics with David Rodman. People wearing other people's gowns, costumes and outfits have been done for decades in the entertainment business. In fact, let's not forget Madonna in 1990 (at MTV Awards) wore Glenn Close's dress from the 1988 Dangerous Liaison film. But again, it even pre-dates this as even older classic movie stars and entertainers have worn other entertainers' outfits throughout the years.

I think DSS is a bit overrated as a film. I watched it again recently and I found it boring, slow, silly and utterly dated. Everybody's gonna hate me for this, but I have to say it.

Evita its a wonderful movie. Madonna was great in it and until this day she is still very proud of it. she did a great job.
you can love or hate Evita the person but she was controversial and polarized as Madonna her whole life. The movie treats the Peronism thing as a light topic because the movie its not about Peronism its about Eva Peron.
Madonna knew she got the role right before the Bedtime Story video premier around the first week of march. So her goodbye for her rebel & unapologetic self was Human Nature video. After june 1995 she started a more agressive plan to soften her image to prepare the public for Evita. That included the Something to remember music project and videos. Interviews; appearances. versace campaign. Magazines, etc. A more elegant Madonna.

Sorry, my post came out confusing. Lol Garbage was starting to blow up and this song really did it for them. Closedt comparison I can think of is Twenty One Pilots and how they were growing but their song Heathens from Suicide Squad exploded. Garbage were going to film a video for #1 Crush but obviously didnt happen. Not sure if it's because their label didnt want it or something else.
Nellee Hooper and Madonna did get into a fight yes. That's why they never worked together ever again after I Want You. Not sure if it happened right after or if it happened when she was trying to figure out what direction her next album (ROL) was going to take.

Just heard about this: how many of you remember this amazing 1996 track by Garbage from the Romeo+Juliet soundtrack?
Well the moaning voice wich opens and make the background for the whole song, wich I always thought was Shirley's, in reality is M's: Nellee Hooper, who produced the track, used his Bedtime Story recordings to complete the Garbage arrangement. I loved to learn it cause I've been a huge Garbage fan and I never noticed it.
EDIT: apparently it was a fake rumour, it's not confirmed anywhere it's M's voice, sorry.
