It's been 5 years!
One of the first few projects that I shared in this forum is my remastered version of the "It's That Girl" promo cassette rip shared by @XAnon777/Rebel Hugo. I decided to revisit this project and remaster it again, this time a little better than the last time. The previous remaster was... a choice but this one is better. I decided not to correct the pitch for the songs just to give it an authentic feel of the cassette. I corrected the channel swap, balanced them out then remastered them.
This is just a little "thank you" to all of you for making this forum a home and a safe haven. I admit that whenever I feel down, I just read some topics here, talk to y'all, throw shit at Emily, and download some files. Y'all deserve a little sumn-sumn. <3

I do respect people that are happy with it but i also have the right to say that i expected something else. To me she did nothing more than give a list to Mike Dean and tell him "Remaster them and make them no longer than 4 minutes" and that's it, so yes i call it lazy. What i was expecting was that she would give a brand new and fresh twist to some of her classics, maybe not on the 50 but some of them at least. Look at these last couple of years, some major singers's classic have been on heavy rotation by giving them new mixes ; Whitney remixed by Kygo "Higher love", also Kygo remixed Donna Summer "Hot stuff", Elton and Dua track remixed, The Black eyed peas and their track sampling " La isla bonita"... She could have easily do a few remixes with all those remixers she goes clubbing with all the time like Honey Dijon, she's also been in studio with the Weeknd... Can you imagine she had just made 3 new mixes, nothing more : "Vogue - Honey Dijon mix" (a hit in the clubs), "Holiday featuring the black eyed peas" (a hit this summer) and another classic remixed by the Weeknd and its 80's electro style. Then do a new photoshoot for the releases, shot new videos (she's been able to shot two videos in a monhs for those Frozen remixes)... This is the kind of effort i was expecting, just 3 new mixes for the summer and the rest you can put the classic mixes. Of some people are not happy with my opinion that's ok, i have the right to express it without being agressive. This is a discussion board.

How is Maluma an asshole, that assessment is so off, he actually spent 70% of both performances trying to take care of her. Imagine if this would have been Drake, he would have pushed her off or something. 

Well I do. And most people in this thread feel the same and that’s a reflection on her fan base. Yes there are the constant complainers but also a lot of the ones commenting here are very supporting fans.
Medellin was not as bad as Music but definitely not good in any way shape or form. Maluma is the only good thing about it. 
If you compare it to Billboard or MXT and still claim it’s good I don’t know what to say…

The community on here is important that we continue it - we may not always agree and we often have diverse opinions but that's makes life rich and being a fan so important - it's those views and having a space to discuss amongst ourselves is so important.

Madonna evolves. She is always reinventing herself. Whats really pxxsing me off is the ageism that crops up everytime a story on Madonna is posted. All by people who weren't even born when she appeared on the scene back in 1982 She is a strong,self made woman..and weathered abuse from her detractors for years...But she stood her ground
She is now 64..and those savagely roasting her feel the need to remind people that
- acting and feeling sexy stops at 35
- you can't indulge in cosmetic procedures over the age of 35
- you can't have sex over 35
- you can't have a younger man after the age of 35
- you can't re mix your own music after 40 years in the business 
- you cannot age.Period. 
Madonna has earned the right to do as she pleases..If she wants surgery.. good..If she wants to still feel sexual at 64..Excellent!! Ageism has to be up there as another aspect of prejudice and hate that we no longer tolerate as a society
Women are forever told to act their age or grow old gracefully..We are all individuals and we should meet old age head on, the way we want to meet it And the weight of other peoples judgement needs to stop (especially from younger women)

Well, she just hit 18 million monthly listeners, her biggest number if I'm correct. Also the Frozen remix reached +22 million streams.

Looks like an upscale from the 720p version, right, not the proper 1080p version? Maybe 720p was the master resolution (not great for 2012, but...).
I LOVE this video so much. 

It's a nice cute little bop. Maybe not the big first single event that you would expect from an artist like Madonna but the song itself is fresh and fun. I like more the demo without Nicki Minaj and M.I.A., the Robyn/dubstep middle 8 is FIRE and the mixing is better (guitars are clearer and stronger):

I never really liked Chapelle and always found him kind of phoney. His remarks in the Netflix special were inappropriate and uncalled for and there wasn’t a context around it. 
But people should have ignored it because all this just gave him free publicity. Which is exactly what he wanted. 
Also he’s entitled to say whatever stupid bullshit he wants in his special. The problem is with Netflix for allowing that kind of hatred on their platform to begin with.
I think it would be smart for Madonna to make a statement about supporting the trans community and condemn this kind of rhetoric. 
But she shouldn’t remove his appearance  since there’s nothing wrong with it. You can agree with someone on some points and disagree on others.

Chappelle is a transphobic asshole and so is anyone who supports and defends him. Now if you can't live with being called transphobic then don't be. As for Madonna she should have included Lil Nas X instead of Chappelle whom no one cares about outside of the US and his coming out as terf is not his first nasty comment about the lgbt community. So if Madonna gets in hot water for standing by this moron it will be deserved because it makes her look like a hypocrite. She benefited from the trans community with Vogue so she should at least support them when they are attacked not only by this sack of shit but also by a huge company like Netflix whom after boring everyone with their series by (most ofthe time) ridiculously including every possible minority in the cast to boost their streaming ratings are now showing its true face.

The difference is that you own the original digital file.
Like you can get a print of the Mona Lisa, or get a screencap online, but you don't own the original. And that's the value.
Until now the digital formats were consider less valuable because of this factor. But with a way to create a 'root ' or origin of a digital file on a the digital age, there's lots of interest and money involved.
Musicians, photographers, artist work on digital formats and there was no way to have an original file that can be share but always shows the ownership.
In Madonna's case it's gonna be one illustration of her that can have different add ons so you can customize it, like a paper doll.
