This week in 2008, the cover for Madonna’s Hard Candy album was revealed. The photo was taken by longtime collaborator Steven Klein. And your thoughts?

I'm listening to Stories by Avicii, and oh boy, the reminiscent beats of the Rebel Heart era production that were discarded. They are so good and timeless.
It was such a wasted opportunity by M.

Nothing like a fourth heat wave here in Rio this year... (Actually two simultaneous heat waves...)

Brazilian fans: are you actually placing any faith on the Rock In Rio rumours?
The RIR cards (which later on allow you to choose which day of the festival you want to attend, without the risk of having them sold out) start being sold tomorrow, and I don't know if it's worth trying to get one...

Lots of rumours... Madonna is celebrating her career... Rock In Rio Brazil is turning 40 as well... Itaú bank is the main sponsor for the event... and Madonna has always been a dream come true for the Rock In Rio line up... I'm afraid it does have a chance of happening, although I'm praying for the opposite.
In the end, I genuinely don't care about that being true or not, because I don't intend to be there at all. It won't be the same as attending her solo concert. I'd rather going to another state and attend Celebration Tour!

Does anyone know the date the Get Stupid backdrop was shot? It must have been around May or June 2008.

Madonna has become so big that she's starting to turn herself into a huge concept of many decades and many personas at the same time, an entity of her own.
When you look at her, you have that feeling that she's something greater than just flesh and bones. She's pure art.

I felt that when the doors were open and we were fortunate enough to watch the final songs rehearsal in 2012. I was able to reach the front row while she was rehearsing GMAYL and performing that memorable break. It was like I was watching History right before of my eyes, watching that Entity you mentioned. All the iconic moments of her career passed through my eyes and then I reached nirvana haha

Express Yourself as the closing number replacing that atrocious abomination of a 'mash-up'…
Would fit with the dancers in her costumes and would give us that very important song missing from the set list.
Anyone agrees?-
I'm a sucker for the song and it has a meaning to the tour... but I must admit it does looked rushed, repetitive, idk. The costumes were an awesome idea, though. I think if it wasn't for the Madonnas on stage, this performance would be even weaker. (Celebration tour ending could never top the MDNA Tour ending imo)
So, yes, Express Yourself would've been good as the tour misses lots of hits... or maybe a remarkable version for Everybody would've served to close a full circle like she would be telling "...and we're just starting, bitches", get it?

First we were hit with fires. Now flash flooding. Our lawn is now the riverbank. Great way to start pride here in Halifax.

The AI upscales are so bad. Madonna's management really doesn't like Madonna lol
