@EgoRodIt's only coming to the US and UK for now, because the rest of Europe has those pesky regulations that don't allow big tech to steal user data and use it for profit in uncouth ways.

MDRA got a reaction from Chris in When it comes to housing. Do you think location wins over bug infestation or not ?
Yes, getting rid of bugs is a few hundred/thousand quid (if you do it right). Location is priceless in the long run.

MDRA got a reaction from PlayPause in Does Dolby Atmos is a must-have? Or am I just using a wrong software to listen to it?
Dolby Atmos is just some cheap way to emulate 5.1 in headphones for lossy music with proprietary encoding and decoding.
Do you have a 5.1 system? If you do, then you'll get something more than stereo out of those files played in Audacity. If you don't, I'm afraid you can't enjoy the full effect.
Anyway, they're lossy files, so of course the stereo lossless is better.
P.S. Popular and Vulgar are not good examples of the technology. Björk's Fossora Dolby Atmos sounds like regular 5.1 when played on a PC with a compatible audio system. But still very lossy.

Awesome, maybe I need a 5.1 system in the future to listen to Dolby Atmos better, thanks for this information @Magick✨

MDRA got a reaction from Chris in May I know what's desktop app for Windows can I use to listen for Dolby Atmos files?
I just drag and drop them in Audacity (if it says unrecognised format or something, install ffmpeg) and export them as 5.1 FLACs. But honestly, Popular and Vulgar were not worth the effort, they're about as spacial as the Celebration DVD videos were.
