Great article and choices.  Some of the choices I find interesting when I feel songs like "Oh Father" are far more superior to songs like "Miles Away".

originally i pitched a top 35 single list to coincide with the 35th anniversary of everybody but my editors said that was too many haha.

 

the ones that came really close for me were sorry, don't tell me, material girl, girl gone wild, lucky star, open your heart, live to tell, erotica, rain, and this used to be my playground.

 

the reason i didn't go with like a virgin was because its such an obvious choices and honestly not in my top 20!
