I always assumed the sound mix was made first and then the show was edited on top of it. Anyway let's hope it's good. I don't mind her mixing her vocals with some studio vocals If they're not intrusive, but what I REALLY don't like is when they use lots of SFX that weren't in the concert. It sounds ok when you're watching, but MDNA and Rebel Heart Tour albums were filled with super loud metal clanging sounds and unnecessary stuff. And don't get me started on those Like a Prayer sing alongs.

La isla totally broke the immersion for me. I didn't bothered much with LAV or LAP and the hair swap thingy, nor Rebel Heart for that matter. But La Isla was awful to watch.

Those absurdly loud fake cheering sounds won't mix in by thenselves, won't they? xD Jokes aside, i really hope they take it easy with the crowd noise. RHT was a step in the right direction compared to MDNA.

Amazing, the final cut ended up looking like something shot exclusively on an iPhone 4.

And don't get me started on that butchered RHT album transition between Music and Candy Shop. I never touched the official release again and went right back to my BDrip audio.

I can just imagine how trippy it would be. I remember smoking a joint and watching the Confessions Tour when I was younger and i was so hypnotized. The seamless edit helped a lot

If we weren't in a global pandemic, she could premiere the concert film in a Theather.

Not sure about sale figures, but the accessibility of streaming platforms surely would propell the tour to a wider audience that would otherwise be oblivious or just download it from a torrent website. TV is obviously a no go. Since it's broadcasted on US only and much of her fanbase is based worldwide, and would rather pirate the show the very next day than wait for another year until it comes out on DVD or international broadcasts. Then gone are the chances for any potential buzz. However, If she's planning on releasing on a streaming service, she will probably have to make the first move, because I don't think they'll cue on her doorstep asking for publication rights.

It seems she spends most of the time procrastinating during the editing. It makes me relieved, since I'm doing the same with my dissertation ?

From the last IG video, it seems that only some inserts were recorded. Probably some very specific close ups that needed to be reshot. She was done with shooting after two days, so it won't be so intrusive in the film cut. Also it seems she's willing to exchange the quick cuts for some open shots of the stage.

Wasn't that after the tour was cancelled? When she started that quarantine diaries thing?

And those were great pre recorded vocals. I wish she used them as backing tracks instead of relying to this day with the vocals recorded for the Super Bowl.

The video mapping thing makes sense. She's re recording footage from Frozen, God Control. Songs that were originally recorded with both a backdrop and a projection on her, between her and the audience. Probably this juxtaposition of images recorded live didn't turn out too good on film. Specially when the projection unintentionally hides her behind everything, since it was so dark onstage and the screen were too bright. Does it make sense? I think that why video mapping will be used instead of having a semitransparent screen between her and the camera.

Well she looks way pretier now than during the tour. That photo with Kim Kardashian backstage is eternally burned in my eyes. So I'm glad for some new close ups.

The alleged Netflix contract probably set the bar higher for what the edit was turning out to be. Perhaps they weren't too keen on Instagram filters...

She's probably only gonna reshoot some close-ups. Because I don't really think they'll rebuild the whole stage and hire everyone back just for some shots... I just hope we don't get a MDNA Miami/Olympia situation where props change on every shot.

Lets just hopes it's not a Reinvention Tour situation where they really missed the time window to release it before she ventures into another project. The uploading of the doc on YT is a good sign that Madame X is very much alive <3
