I remember running home as fast as my little legs could carry me to listen to the Cherish 12'' I'd just bought the day it was released. The pre-internet surprise and intrigue of seeing an unreleased song on the b-side was almost too much for me to handle.

Interesting to know this was planned for December 1988, I think it would have done well in the UK. Shame she's never done any more Christmas music.

Take A Bow has a sort of christmas vibe to it don't you think. If you swapped the bullfighter for a sexy santa and had Madonna rolling around in christmas presents it'd be perfect.

Yeah it's been an expensive hobby this past year but I'm weak and the collector instinct is strong. Still a handful of releases to go yet but I'm getting there, some of them are so crazy expensive. I've finally got every official UK picture disc now aside from the withdrawn Erotica 12'' (but I have a hunch that will be a RSD release at some point which will be good enough for me). Just a handful of US 12''s to get and a few more of the promo 12''s and I'll be happy
