From what I've seen on the live it sounds like they used the pitched album vocals on key on top of the Celebration instrumental, instead of Madonna singing it live. Idk, it sounded slightly better but it could just be me.

Papa Don't Preach was at some point rehearsed in full (well, not completely in full, but not just a string arrangement) but having 4 "complete" True Blue songs on the tour was not gonna cut it IMO. I might compile a list of what songs and elements didn't make the tour if anyone has any interest in it, I don't see the problem. And thank you for your words, it's a fun time to be a Madonna fan!

Sounds pretty accurate, thank you! Yes what you said about TPOG is correct, was later removed as Madonna just was not feeling it. They also suggested Madonna to keep Nothing Really Matters as the finale and leave Everybody as the opener but that didn't land. With rehearsals, many songs were cut off, just like that Act I was talking about with Music, Candy Shop etc. Frozen was indeed where Rain is now, as Madonna rehearsed Rain (I believe for the first time) before leaving to the UK a few times, so it's something fresh. When I and Giampiero found out about it, we couldn't believe our eyes. Lol

That's new to me! It was never talked to me and I never had any setlist which had that song on it. Especially back in June, July, August etc. la Isla was definitely not there. But I believe you as we could confirm eachother in other info and we might have heard different things! About Rain I like the arrangement and originally it was rehearsed in its entirety right before leaving for the UK, like 3-4 weeks ago, I was told that Madonna would do the 'spoken' on the bridge live but then it was cut to the mix we have now.

Just Hold Tight was in that same 'cowboy/no fear' section, the other 2 were a little earlier in the show.

I was always described 'Celebration' as the song where the dancers went out, kind of like an outro.

The show before leaving for UK was exactly as we know it now minus La Isla Bonita (which was added in Manchester), Hold Tight which was in the same act of DCFMA and I Will Survive, and of course Sorry and Oh Father. Also Bitch I'm Madonna was supposed to be her holding a cross across the stage (she also had a black veil, those 2 things are the only differences) and also Celebration had no 'Music' sample. That's what I know!

Nope, I believe the show was cut short during the Manchester final rehearsals (that's when La Isla Bonita was added in also) so I don't think we have high chances of them re-appearing. I'd love to be wrong here but I'm not holding my hopes up.

I know it's a pitch corrector, I engineer vocals and worked for live events as well, but most artists nowadays just use autotune (Antares seems to be everyone's favorite choice) for live performances just with a slow tuning instead of the hard, robotic setting which gives the effect Autotune is mostly known for.

Most artists use live autotune in their concerts nowadays, even other big ones like Taylor, Beyoncé (and also lipsynching, but that's nothing new). It's nothing revolutionary or something to be shocked about.

Lol why are you so stubborn in always minimizing the details me and Drownedmadonna have given? We were accurate in basically 99% of everything, from the song hints, to the opening song, the details, everything. Some minor mistakes and changes happened and neither me or Drowned stepped back from it and we actually acknowledged them. I don't understand what's your problem honestly, but you trying to make people think I lied or Drownedmadonna lied is pure bullshit.

I have no idea! As I said before I don't know what they did in Manchester, the Act I was talking about (Music and 3 other songs - not HT, OF and Sorry) was completely dropped and Frozen was changed for Rain, which happened approximately 3 weeks ago right before leaving for the UK. I do hope we get to hear Oh Father live as I was really looking forward to it and would have been an amazing, intimate moment for the show!
