  1. This time with floor seats a handful of rows back on the right side of the stage! Final thoughts: This is my second time going, and it’s by far the best show I’ve ever seen (for now)! I was by far the youngest fan as everyone around me looked at lest 20-30 years older than me 💀. Everything from the first notes in Nothing Really Matters to the last bits of Celebration, I along with everyone else in the floor section were on our feet the whole time. It was that good. Madonna didn’t miss a note at all from what I experienced. I could hear her breathing during the action-heavy parts, so it wasn’t all 100% lip-syncing. When she came out for the first song, I was in awe yet again since my lovely, beautiful, and amazing M was that close to me (and didn’t need the big screen to see her since she wasn’t just a pixel this time). The rest of the first act was flawless! She wasn’t dropped by the dancer, and since Palm Springs has a lot of gay people, she went over how she had daddy issues 💀💀💀💀 also she spotted a fan saluting 🫡 her which she told them not to do and later remarked how she didn’t want that “weird heil Hitler moment” at her concert, which was funny as hell and we all laughed. She also sang a few lines of Causing a Commotion and unfortunately she was around some fans who didn’t sing anything and then called them out, saying “you’re all either high, drunk, shy, or you don’t know the words” and then later remarked how a lot of fans don’t know the words even though it sounded like the whole arena was singing just about every song and it seemed louder than Chicago (even though that arena was way larger). Also said that all the haters can go fuck themselves which we all loved. I couldn’t contain myself during the second act. She appeared like 10 feet away from me when Erotica started and also did that little snippet of Papa Don’t Preach about 10 feet away as well!!!! Hung Up and Vogue were also done up close to me as well, but this time in the center (which was way closer to me than I thought). The rest of the acts (including a good rendition of Take a Bow) follow the same story. I was in shock and awe especially during the parts on the right side of the stage and the outmost part of the center because both were literally like 10 feet away from me. Up close!!!!! During her speech before Express Yourself, she talked about how her kids were so important to her and part of what keeps her going, along with how her kids were her first thoughts when she was in the hospital. She also went on about how she initially couldn’t walk or wipe her ass and has an “unhealthy” work ethic. Also brought up how she didn’t want to let her fans down, which resulted in her receiving the longest applause of the night. In the end, this was one of the most fun nights I’ve had in recent memory, and the post-concert blues are probably gonna hit twice as hard being up close and knowing that this might be the last time I ever see Madonna. If this is it, then I’ll forever be grateful that I got to both have a lifetime that intersected with Madonna and see her on at least one tour. Either way, I can flex that I have seen the greatest female in the history of music to everyone I know. That’s definitely something I can’t take for granted since plenty of my other favorites are dead. Below are a few photos I’m able to upload. The other photos I wanted to post were all over the 1 MB limit.
  2. So, I think we have enough distance from the opening of this great tour to talk about things that could be improved. I made this thread specifically, so that people who are annoyed by these things can choose to ignore it. As I have said before, I am a huge fan of this tour. I am happy she chose to do a show mostly for her fans and not make this a straight-up GP-pandering show. She looks happy, healthy and the costumes are her best in AGES. That said, even her tours that I love and admire all have a few things that I think could have been tweaked to make it even better. This thread is a place to discuss that, a safe space where you are allowed to voice your opinion, even if it might be unpopular. Note: CbT = Celebration Tour / CfT = Confessions Tour (at least for me)
  3. This may be two days late (in typical Madonna fashion), but I finally got to see Madonna for the first time ever on Thursday night! Out of all the concerts I’ve got to, this one was easily the best one. I could not believe that at 65 and after nearly dying last year, she was able to put on such a spectacular performance. It defied all of my expectations (I had none, given the circumstances). The fact that I was going to see her… it didn’t feel real at all until she came on at 9:50. She was late but I didn’t give a shit. I’ve waited 3 years to go to one of her shows. I could have waited 3 hours if I had to. And then she came on managed to hit every single note with surprisingly amazing vocals. Her voice, her dancing, the stage, the lighting, all of it was basically immaculate. I was singing along to just about every song. Die Another Day was one of the high points with the choreography and lighting show. I was crying during Live to Tell and her tribute to Michael Jackson. And I was in total disbelief that she brought out Bad Girl and Bedtime Story, neither of which have been performed in about 30 years if I recall correctly. I do wish the ending was different and I think the last act as a whole ended too quickly, but I can see why it was done the way it was. But overall, just about everything was amazing. To see the reigning queen for the first time ever, it was absolutely a treat. It’s one of the highest points of my life (so far). I can say I finally got to see the greatest female performer in the history of music. Even though I’m a couple days removed, I’m still euphoria-high over it. (Side note: As an extreme minority of the fan base, a 21-year-old straight guy, I can confirm that straight gen-Z’ers do exist in the fandom) I’m absolutely crazy for Madonna and this show, which is why I’m running it back next month with floor seats.
  4. There are far enough songs for a new Celebration Tour : What's it Feels like For a Girl Music Beautiful Stranger Frozen Love Profusion You'll See I Want You Love Song Celebration God Control Candy Shop Cherish Medellin Dear Jessie True Blue (remixed version) Hollywood Deeper and Deeper Give It to Me
  5. I never knew such a bad organization as Ticketmaster Germany. They don't answer to any mail, two days before they don't tell people at which door you must enter to the arena, still waiting for my ticket for the second show in Cologne etc etc For Rebal Heart in Belgium, I remember is was perfect. Here.... I am going to Cologne without any information. I hope that I will receive these informations in the two days that will come.
  6. Hi! I have created this thread in case there is someone who is going to be alone in the VIP area in Paris, on the 12th, before the concert or would like to meet another fans. I'm coming from Madrid and I'm looking forward to meet you!
