Spanglish Version #1 was used on the One More Chance single. The second version is promo only, so this release is a BIG treat. Hopefully they are starting to release more promo only versions again!

Well, you must understand M has never been fluent in Spanish, so she tried to sound natural as she could (I just love her pronunciation here, much better than in Lo Que Siente la Mujer).

When she performed Lo Que on the DWT, she sounded amazing. That’s probably my favorite performance from that tour.

She even does the double vibrant /ř/ sound in words like "resistir," instead of the simple vibrant /r/ found in English, maybe she was used to hear her father speak English with some Italian pronunciation (/ř/ is common in Italian as it is in Spanish).

I’m not fluent in Spanish, so when I say I don’t like the vocal on Veras (very nasally when the chorus starts), I’m not talking about her pronunciation, just the tone of her voice.

It’s deep and rich in You’ll See.

Once again, you're so right.  She sounds pretty superb.  She definitely put in the effort.  Most fans really loved "Verás over the English version.  You have to be out of your mind not to love it.

Maybe because she starts the chorus with a /ç/ fricative sound in the word "ya" instead of the usual affricated /dž/ - her "ya" is a typical Chilean pronunciation instead of Latin American standard).

Btw, German and Greek have this sound /ç/ too, in words like German sprechen and Greek viologhia. EDIT: Japanese too, in words like hi (both "sun" and "fire," but written with different kanji.)

Well the West Argentina region is *much closer* to Chilean way of speaking than the standard "porteño" from Buenos Aires (must explain why she does the Chilean "ya" instead of the porteño "ya").
