Glad to see AI can't even get this simple task right. There are mistakes there, I wouldn't go by this one, at least not by checking it one by one first.

Just a quick look into Wikipedia tells me "Turn Up The Radio" was premiered July 16, 2012, not August 5. I searched for that one cause I didn't remember it premiering so late in the Summer.

Also, ChatGPT has a "Faz Gostoso" video we don't even have, cute. Must be an AI one.

In defense of AI, I have to point out that the results are often influenced by how we phrase our questions. As with any technology, being precise is key to getting the correct answer. In this case, the AI is clearly providing the release dates for the singles, not the music videos.

Nope, it was released after and actually as the last video and single from the album. She was so over the debut already and wanted to move on to "Like A Virgin" but the label convinced her to milk it just a little more. They even wanted her to perform "Lucky Star" at the VMAs 1984 but she went on with "Like A Virgin" instead (way long before the single was going to be released) and the rest is history.

So I guess these two must be swapped:

2. **Lucky Star** - August 24, 1983
3. **Borderline** - February 15, 1984

Honestly while I appreciate the bothering asking ChatGPT, I wouldn't use that list at all, at least not without checking it one by one, something I personally myself have no intention to do now. xd

The mix up here is the single release of the Double A Side Lucky Star/Holiday in Europe in August.  A month later, Europe got a stand alone single for Lucky Star in Sept. 1983.  Lucky Star was supposed to been released in the summer of '83 in the U.S., but her record label rushed Holiday instead being radio stations were already playing Holiday due to it's popularity.  But yeah, the video came much later. :luv:

Burning Up music video was released September 21-ish 1983 as reported in Billboard 28 September 1983

The info are so confusing, each one says some different dates, I guess is imposssible knowning certainly, before I create this topic I kind of did some research out there, and nothing satisfied me totally, that's why I came here to see if some of you would be agreeing with each other, and I was hoping unanimity, well I think I'm gonna use the single release dates, I guess will be easier. Anyways thanks to all of you for discussing this subject.

In another thread someone mentioned that Lucky Star was filmed BEFORE Borderline no? Idk that timeline confuses me because on the Immaculate Collection it's before Borderline cuz technically it was released as a double A-Side with Holiday in the US correct? Or was it just an oversight? Anyone here old enough to remember? Lol

As mentioned above,  some sources are just mixing up when the singles were released, rather the video.  Many videos came after the single even if it was just a week or two.  For  instance, the Lucky Star video was filmed and released in '84 after it was a single in the UK/EUROPE in '83.  The single was release as a Double A Side Lucky Star/Holiday in Europe/UK in August '83.  A month later, Europe got a stand alone single for Lucky Star in Sept. 1983.  Lucky Star was supposed to be released in the summer of '83 in the U.S., but her record label rushed Holiday instead being radio stations were already playing Holiday due to its popularity.  The video was filmed later in early '84 shortly before Borderline video.  Borderline was released and became a top 10 for Madonna in the U.S. and by that summer, Madonna was ready to release Like A Virgin, but then Warner released Lucky Star after Borderline in the U.S.  LAV was put off for a later release, while Lucky Star was soaring in the U.S.

Here's another tid bit... MTV wanted Madonna to perform Lucky Star at the infamous 1984 MTV Awards, but Madonna wanted to perform LAV instead, which as we know ended up making her a house hold name by the end of the year.

They confused everyone forever by putting "Lucky Star" before "Borderline" on "The Immaculate Collection", especially on the video release.

It was later. She wanted to move on to "Like A Virgin" but Warner convinced her to do a little video for "Lucky Star". Camille Barbone had just sued her for their time together and someone told Madonna "with this video you'll be able to pay her back and more". And they were right.

It was all in a MTV history book I can't remember the name now!
