Yeah, I don't really believe she and her team thought about pushing the song too greatly.  I'm betting they are just letting it organically take off.  The song was already a huge iconic hit.  This is a song that most people associate with Madonna even if they aren't following her career too closely. Anyway, it's nice the exposure it's getting. 

If this was the case that would honestly be the best option. Tons of songs get popular, get put in nearly everything, and then become the next "overrated" song. I would hate to see that happen to a masterpiece such as Like a Prayer. 

A lot of the same people who call out Madonna for surgery talk about how wonderful Cher looks 😅, so y’know I don’t think the general public is a great metric. Madonna can and will continue to do what she wants, and that in itself is a fight against ageism. Unapologetically living your life as you please into your golden years. 

Nobody's gonna talk how in the booklet they literally photoshopped the same head onto two different poses? So bad. I still cant believe fans hold this awful shoot in such high regard. Klein's worst until that awful Monroe V mag shoot.

The only video I've seen of her at the event is her leaving  I think Madonna and the twins were on part of the carpet that was separated from the main one. 

It's not about introducing her to tiktok users, it is just that she's the last 80s Megastar Creamy Smooth Pop Icon Goddess alive with a killer catalog and we want people to know, enjoy and celebrate it while she still here. What's wrong with that?

If there's way to do it, why not? People can still listen to old torn 7'' singles from when they were young and be satisfied, I can still listen to the CDs I bought in my teens and people should be able to consume her the way music is consumed now. Things can coexist.

On Good Morning America Ryan Reynolds said he's been thinking about this song for a  "specific sequence within the movie" ever since they finished Deadpool 2. 
Madonna's notes were on the way the music was used within the scene.

I'm betting on LAV40. but there has been talk that both the first album and LAV could be combined somehow.  There is no doubt, that she and her team are finding ways to capitalize on her 40th Anniversary. Obviously, it's not as fan expected or as easy as some try to make it. The Celebration Tour and The Deadpool and Wolverine are definitely great ways to get things going, but we'll have to see what else comes of it.  There is no doubt the few merchandise releases of LAP is due to the Marvel film. They are using that to make a connection. It makes sense as Madonna always been about capitalizing on pop culture. It's all about getting the general public energized about her positively. So far she and her team is securing that.  

I also think we need to sit back and just give it the whole weekend. It’s still only Friday evening (here in the states). Only a fraction of the weekend audience have seen it yet. Let’s see where it’s at w/updates Sunday/Monday.

I’m just hoping it’s delayed as part of a larger strategy to up her overall streaming and bring her back into the public consciousness in a more celebratory and less derisive way. Perhaps there will be more deals for her music like the Deadpool one, that will really introduce her music to a wider audience and affirm her as a legend.
