I think the same person running her non-defunct fanclub and official website is in charge of the videos at Youtube, but I am not entirely sure.  It's really not a big deal, but I do understand why you think it belongs where it does since the song was released before the Like a Prayer album.  My guess, it's just a silly mistake, but maybe it has something to do with the video wasn't available until 1989.

I suspect it was a mistake.  Though, I wonder since the video is a compilation of clips from the film, if it wasn't available until the summer of '89.  I know that I didn't know a video existed for the song until the internet came along.  I know the song was released in several regions outside of the U.S. and is probably why I never saw the video, but I've seen other region specific or rarely shown videos of hers on U.S. Mtv during the 80's.  Anyway, my point is, the video may not been made available until 1989 and that's why it's placed between those two videos.

You seem to answer your own question by posting the follow up tweet!  Let's face it, there are going to be early versions of her songs that her producers may have which is out there.  I'm sure these are very close to what we already have though.

Great response.  However, he won't have a problem selling this.  The song is huge.  Fans from all bases will eat this up.  I'm just surprised they hadn't hopped on releasing a physical versions, months ago. Still, it's great to see the longevity of the song. Not many people could release a video and then release a physical copy this long after it was released. And this is coming from a soundtrack (which actually didn't appear on) of a flopped series.  The run this song has had is incredible!

You are only repeating what others have said for decades regarding other generations music!  All I know is that the more I grow older, the more I appreciate even music I used to not like before. Music affects people in different ways.  Not everyone is looking for music with deep meaning or thought.  Sometimes, the most successful songs were meaningless bops! I think we all have that one song that is crazy ridiculous that is possibly hated by others, that we just love. You only live once!  So enjoy what you enjoy and don't let others make you feel like your any less of a person for enjoying whatever music you enjoy!

@stickersweeter, I posted the link before watching the video completely through. I was just excited, but like you said it doesn't look too HD to me. There are parts that look good, but it still looks pretty much like what it was before.

Like the song, but the vocals sound nothing like Madonna or Pharrell and at times, the vocals sound really bad with the effects.  But where is this song coming from?  I don't recall this ever being a song leaking or mentioned among the demos from Rebel Heart???

While I agree she has times in the film that her acting falls flat, but this isn't one of them.  Scenes likes this shine for her.  Hardly the most exciting scene, but she kept me engaged and interested.  I had forgotten about this scene. As of this post, at least 22 have died and as many as 50 or 60 wounded.  The man who used an AR-15 styled gun is still at large. Happened at a Bar and Grill Restaurant and Bowling Alley.  My greatest fear is how many children were wounded or killed as well?  This is nuts!

Glad you had a great time.  I agree that what was cut, wasn't a huge loss.  It still seemed to be a very long show despite her ending on Rain.  I will admit, after watching the stream last night, it was a bit unexpected for her to leave at Rain. But at least she had a chance to say "Goodbye".

@AngeloNo, the technical issue was nearly 8 minutes long.  Here is a video for reference.  Her and Bob stalled for most that time, It took nearly 8 minutes for her to be able to perform Open Your Heart.

I don't believe anything was cut off unless the Celebration finale was to go longer.  There were a couple other songs like Human Nature and Crazy For You which were very short.  Still, the show ran pretty long, so I doubt any song was cut out. 

I guess we'll see in the coming shows to see if anything is different, but I really do believe she did the full show tonight!

Totally hear it.  Can't imagine how this song managed to be released without anyone noticing how it seems to be very similar to ROL.  I know it was released in 2001, and it's not a song that has been globally known, but still???
