She’s so damn boring and tries so hard to have a shady sound bite and it’s always Madonna. Girl it’s been nearly 3 decades. You didn’t get to play Evita in the movie. Get over it. You think America wanted to see a mug like yours blown up?! Get real! You’d think she’d take it graciously but she hasn’t let it go and always has to trash M in the media. Always. She tries to be so cunty but the fact is that she’s ugly af, can’t sing without that over the top musical theatre shit (could never stand musical theatre), and she doesn’t have mass appeal. She’s a cunt without the warmth.

That was the WW release date. The US got it on October 9, 1986. so it could be either of those.

the date has been up since May. But no other details are out for it. Not sure what it can be.

I think @steady75 commented that, but the rumored RSD "Bedtime Stories" EP will be the real test of what she and Warner are really willing to offer. If there are truly unreleased demos and stuff there or just simple edits or things we already have.

Im sure Drake also surpassed MJ in terms of charts. Its not the same for every artist. Its easier nowadays with streaming and algorithms the rules are different you are alble to chart with non singles etc. The way charts and sucess is measured is not the same.

I’m too lazy to start at the beginning of this thread but Madonna getting two vma nominations reminds me of how supporting actors nominated for Oscars from the same movie often cancel each other out. I don’t think that was a deciding factor since most of her original fans are old like me and can’t vote because we have dial up America online. Madonna didn’t need to show up. From Sabrina Carpenters Mackie gown to variant slutty bride looks, Madonnas’s dna was all over the show.
I definitely think Katy Perry winning for best performance for “roar” was rigged. However, I watched her entire vma performance of medleys and IMO I found it very entertaining ( she was one prop away from recreating the ass to ass scene in “requiem for a dream” at one point). I was expecting some half baked variation of her Vegas show. Instead, she looked hot and the tweaks in the songs worked. I had to ask myself why any of her  concerts need to be more than 10 minutes from now on since she seemed to squeeze all of her hits in.

Chopped up, newly made by in-house people and not the original remixers/editors is not my idea of enjoyable, but everyone has different tastes.
Personally, I don’t want newly edited mixes by people who didn’t originally work on the remixes. They are awful, like that ‘Alternate Single Remix’ of ‘Keep it Together’ that they led people to believe was from 1990 and was just created in 2022 by some person that works at Warner now. 🥴
