Checked Rhino for the slip mat version and it says it wont be shipped till the 18th.

Okay. I just got an email from them that they are preparing for shipment. They sent me an email with the tracking. If you have gmail look in your spam or promotions tab because mine was in the promotions inbox in gmail.

I really thought it was just like the reflection of the camera and tripod warping onto the vinyl but that's not possible.

no they are really like that, but it has to be on purpose because I have some silver and gold records that are normal looking like any other color
