We have every right to moan when some of us have been waiting for 30 years to get the two remaining vinyl exclusive mixes on streaming. We know the digital versions are rotting somewhere and they keep letting a random generator decide whether they are going to give us ALL the mixes or just the tracks already available digitally. It's truly annoying as fuck when people don’t seem to understand why collecters are frustrated as fuck about this.

The black one all the way! The grey cover was way too old by the time it was used imo. Plus, the black cover matches her look at that time a little more. I just checked and the black cover was the one used for all the US releases. I have a feeling they will get to merging and releasing updated EPs for the post-AL singles after all the old stuff has been uploaded. But yeah I wouldn’t be so confident about Borderline if they didn’t change the tagging to just "Borderline" on all the tracks. It’s an indicator that they caught on the mistake. I fucking despise that stupid Celebration Edit for creeping its way into Celebration and now this EP. It was most definitely an upload mistake. The dub being omitted was another stupid decision.

It's an issue with Spotify. It's all neat and clean on Apple Music. I am more concerned with the inconsistency of the releases in terms of completion. I don't understand what exactly made them change their minds after Bedtime Story and Frozen. They canceled the Fever and LDLHA remix EPs and then gave us the lame US versions for both of them for no logical reason.

Yeah I think Borderline will get a fix. They barely mentioned that re-issue when it was uploaded, then realized the tagging and the versions were all wrong and erased the tags of it (all the tracks are tagged as just "Borderline" on Spotify). I think this will see a proper re-release next since February has nothing else to offer.

The "2000 Demo" is also from 2005 as far as I know. The released version is the older demo I think.

The one I sent you is the original, ripped directly from official source. The one you posted is probably the fanmade reconstruction done by @Dazedmadonna with the stems of the album version and parts of the Dub. I think I have that lying around somewhere in lossless.

Those two versions are fanmade. There were never any 7" remix edits for Like A Virgin or Material Girl. It's That Girl had some remix edits but only the ones that were officially or promo only released. See this thread:

Why should they be merging two singles that were never released on the same disc? They haven’t done that for Gambler/Crazy For You. They won’t be doing it for Oh Father and Dear Jessie. What’s the issue? Why can’t there be two separate releases? They clearly don’t care if there isn’t a new or exclusive version on the single (see Material Girl). 😂 The only case where two singles have been merged is Bad Girl/Fever and that was only due to the fact that they decided to go with the US tracklist of Bad Girl. Fever was originally going to be a separate single. Also, the fade on Dear Jessie isn’t just one second. It’s still a "rare" single version that for the sake of completion deserves to be put on streaming. The same goes for the single itself.
