  1. Hopefully…they decided to skip Live To Tell (probably because they plan to wait until its 40th anniversary in two years… 🤡), so we can't be too sure about that.
  2. AMEN!!!! I really didn’t like that Roseanna Arquette was on the European Into The Groove cover. That’s why I wouldn’t mind if it didn’t get an individual single release. 😅😅😅
  3. That’s what I think will happen looking at how they merged Bad Girl / Fever and Burning Up / Physical Attraction to reflect the AA-Side of these singles. I think Fever really should have been kept separately but who knows what they‘ll do with the remaining mixes.
  4. How did she diss him in the Human Nature video? Anyway, he did a great job with the video. It’s a shame she can’t appreciate the people that actually took great pictures or videos of her.
  5. It’s in the same vein as Impressive Instant which is a great song but if Hollywood and American Life didn’t click with audiences, neither would have Nobody Knows Me which has even less of a conventional song structure. Nothing Fails also doesn’t scream single to me and I’m not particularly surprised it tanked. Thank god that wasn’t the lead single or anything like some deranged people suggested a few months ago when we were discussing the singles. 💀 I don’t remember who exactly it was but my god… That’s like suggesting Oh Father should have bern the lead single from Like A Prayer.
  6. Nobody Knows Me was not a commercial single choice unless it was remixed and re-arranged entirely for the single mix. I think Intervention, Love Profusion, Nothing Fails and possibly Mother And Father would have been the more commercially appealing choices. The first one especially. It’s like Nothing Fails but more uptempo.
  7. Three singles at the same time kinda 💀 Nothing Fails / Nobody Knows Me & Love Profusion To answer the OP: I think there may have been plans to issue Nobody Knows Me as third single but when both, American Life and Hollywood tanked she had to release something that would connect more with US audiences again. Nothing Fails was definitely the best option despite being a bit of a boring single choice. She asked people that attended Live & On The Record what the second single should be: Hollywood, Love Profusion or Mother And Father. So those were always options. I think the real switch came between Nothing Fails & Nobody Knows Me cause the remixes for NKM were released a little earlier.
  8. PeriodT! It’s one of my all-time favorites. That other cover can’t compare. That is correct. It was changed from the first CD pressing of "The First Album" onward. The vinyl issues of The First Album still had the LP Version aka. Remix aka. Alternate Version.
  9. Oh that makes total sense given the lyrical similarities to this song:
  10. Some times it’s nice to have certain people blocked because they continue to spew absolute nonsense.
  11. Yes, we do know what to call it because that's the name it was released as: The title is right under the track length. https://www.discogs.com/de/release/2293049-Madonna-Causing-A-Commotion Yes, the entire remix is impossible to reconstruct because it isn't JUST an edit of the Extended Version but, similar to Borderline, an exclusive Single Remix edited from the actual multitrack. @Dazedmadonna can possibly enlighten you on this.
  12. Okay first of all, the Movie House Edit is NOT another edit of the Silver Screen Single mIx. Second of all, the Open Your Heart Remix is on a pedestal because it's a rather widely released 7" Edit of the Extended Mix and only available on vinyl. It would be an utter shame if it remains the only 7" Version from the 80s to say a vinyl exclusive.
  13. Causing A Commotion wasn’t copyrighted a few weeks ago, so that one is new!
  14. I'm just fed up with non-fans ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS writing stupid articles and basically ignoring ANYTHING she released aside from Like A Virgin or True Blue and pretending the rest doesn't exist or wasn't as good. Whenever there is a ranking of her discography it's always the Like A Virgin songs ranking at the top and that's when you know the article was written by a non-fan or someone who shunned Madonna after her first popularity peak in the 1980s. They never truly understood or acknowledged her versatility as an artist. and Into The Groove PERFECTLY embodies the "I don't care about Madonna but that basic little song she dropped in 1985 is cute" crew. Most Madonna fans would never ever place Like A Virgin at the top of their list.
  15. Me too but I guess they have decided to keep torturing us for another year. I suppose we're getting Live To Tell and Open Your Heart in 2026.
  16. This came right after Warner sealed the new deal with Madonna.
  17. Things might be different now. I Want You was used in a commercial recently.
  18. Ugh Into The Groove is so overrated honestly. It’s great but idk it doesn’t carry the Madonna essence for me. I suppose it would be different if I had lived through the time where it was released, so obviously my perception of it is a bit warped. But in my opinion she has so many more songs that embody her personality, her vibe, her music way more than ITG.
  19. It’s not Madonna that’s hitting the upload button on these singles, sweetie. It’s the stupid intern appointed with the administration of this campaign.
  20. A little reminder for the "know it alls" and the "what's the point" crew. What exactly was the point of these singles, exactly? Also, no the Immaculate Collection Version of Live To Tell isn't an edit. It's just a Q-Sound Mix of the album version. There is not short version of Live To Tell available on streaming. Also, the 7" Edit isn't even some obscure local or promo only edit. It's THE 7" Version released on all formats of the single. If there was supposedly a point to release the singles above with only one or NO new/exclusive tracks included, then yes there DEFINITELY is a point to release Live To Tell and Crazy For You.
  21. First Crazy For You, now Live To Tell…how much longer do they want to drag this whole campaign out 💀
  22. Why is it so hard for you to understand??? HER LIST OF RELEASES SHOULDN'T BE PATCHY AND ALL OVER THE PLACE. What is the point of having Material Girl as a single in her streaming catalogue when it had NO new or exclusive versions on it? What‘s the point of having La Isla Bonita as a single on there but not the other singles? They clearly do not care whether a single only has one exclusive version on it or nothing new at all. That said, we might get the True Blue singles in a similar fashion as her Erotica singles or as Lucky Star: linked to the anniversary of that album. The single is most definitely coming. Just not now but in the very near future cause alongside Angel, it’s the only new album that was copyrighted.
