Watch her save the footage for herself and just move past the MX era. She probably has a bad association with the entire thing already.

There is no way. Just look at how she's still in Madame X mode.  She's still referring to the tour and the persona(s).  Hardly, "a bad association" when it's been nearly a month since.  Yes, bad circumstances happened, but it doesn't mean she's ready to ditch it.  Besides, she's hired a company to film it.  It's coming!  She wants people to see this and it will be in her vision even though it didn't go as smoothly on tour.

  2. Sounds more like, "Like a Nightmare".  LOL!

Unfortunately, Madonna really can't do much herself when it comes to recording a new song while we are at this state.  She isn't truly a musician (meaning someone who can play instruments) and we know she's a perfectionist, so recording something at home, other than what we've seen (with her kids) about the closest we'll get with her doing something.

Imagine David and Mercy playing the piano and Guitar, while Madonna belts out a few songs with Estere and Stella as her back up singers/dancers.

Considering peoples uploads of copyrighted material to YouTube are illegal, I dont believe her team lives in the bubble of "everyone has already seen this". Madonna's channel is not just for die Hard fans. Besides, the fact that they even bothered to acknowledge vogue at all is wonderful.

This all the way!  Thank you!

  4. So apparently this isn't about "teasing fans" regarding any tour.  It's all about celebrating the 30th anniversary of Vogue.  Now, you might think there are far better ways to celebrate this song, but it's just nitpicking at this point. It's quite possible, Madonna's youtube channel will upload all live performances of Vogue in the next week or two.

Take a breath!  Enjoy that she and her team are taking some time to upload Vogue remixes and performances to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Vogue, during a time when more important things are going on in the world than if Madonna and her team is updating her social media with videos, images or songs that celebrate a particular era, song, album or tour.

I don't like streaming. I always use my files ripped directly from the CD's that I bought. But it doesn't mean that I have to like the fact that all her discography is fucked up on that platform. I realised about this, on this days of quarantine, when I didn't have my files or records, so thanks for your 'nice' words.

If her company don't know how to rip a CD and tag it well and upload to a platform, no wonder why they can't manage a theatre tour in 5 cities.

At the same time, you always seem to complain.  No disrespect and I know that won't paint pretty flowers for some, but it's true.  There is so much about Madonna to enjoy and talk about even at this community.  She's given us so much. Just enjoy what's out there.  If you can reach it and enjoy, then that's all that matters.  It's Madonna and her team who should be concerned who she reaches.  Peace and love.

Well, her team managed to get more on there than they have with Madonna’s singles, and they managed to get all of Kylie’s on there. It’s just disappointing since her singles are immaculate.

I agree, but it is what it is.  One day, they'll catch up, but I'll never rely on any streaming service for my fix. I just don't get this new generation where they store everything up on the cloud or just stream everything (convenient, I agree), but I want to own what I love. That way, if I'm left with out internet or whatever, I'll still have it.

Well yeah but at the same time the hard core fans are a very big portion of those still streaming her. They’ve managed to put Janet and Kylie’s catalogue on streaming services so I don’t see what is so difficult about getting Madonna’s on there.

As for why IGGTYAS has been removed I have no idea. I don’t think it has anything to do with streaming numbers, because I’m sure there are other things on her profile that have had less streams.

Do you know for a fact if all of Janet and Kylie's songs are the correct versions, mixes or what not that some Madonna fans squabble about? Also, I know that not all of Janet's work is up there either.  In fact, it wasn't till recently "Runaway" was available on Spotify.

Yes, I like to see Madonna's work up available for all to access, but some seem to make it their life mission to complain about everything.  If you're a hardcore fan depending on Spotify to get your Madonna fix, then I'm not sure what to tell you.

  8. I wouldn't know.  I have all her music digitally on various devices and saved on computer drives. Never going to just pay for streaming.  I want to own her shit.  I don't need some bad substitute on some streaming site.

Honestly, no one but the hard core fans pay attention to this lack of show of her music. The essentials are still there.  It might not be a hard core's fan's preference/version, but I highly doubt anyone but us hard core fans would be looking to play her "I'm Going To Tell You A Secret" live album.

I think the reality of the situation is, with something like this, Vogue anniversary or not it’s so easy to pick apart EVERY detail. And I guess ppl ask why this performance? Why not something officially released like from IGTTYAS Vogue? Or any other one. I think the fact that it’s BAT everyone was hyped and freaking out. Myself included.
I’m not reading too much into it, but it is important to generate curiosity in something like this to gain her attention when it happens. I only hope someone on her team tells her “M your fans are gagging, are you going to do something about it”. And I’m SURE her answer will be......

    excuse me no GIF

    bahahah!!!

I totally get it.  And quite possibly by uploading this, she and her team will see the demand for the full show on DVD.  But I'm not going to hold my breath.

I think it's pretty simple to me why they used this one. First, it's coming from the time the song was first released.  Also, it's the first time Vogue was performed on a tour during the singles release and popularity.  It's very close to the original version, and it's complete.  Remember, all the other performances didn't included the full song.  Personally, it's one of the best sounding ones (clearly because they dubbed in the studio vocals).

To me, this is the best live performance interpretation of the song with the exception of the VMA's, which they uploaded already.

Madonna.com had a couple of videos from the Nice show around 10 years ago. One of them was Where's The Party which was also available on her old Youtube channel. I don't know if it's still there.

It's sad that most fans get their hopes up when they do this kind of stuff, especially if it's related to BAT. But I wouldn't hold my breath on this. Time is wise. They don't care anymore! Just play your high quality bootlegs at home and relive the best spectable she ever put on.

It has nothing to do with BAT, it was uploaded because it's celebrating the 30th anniversary of Vogue.  Why are people turning this into some huge disappointment?
