Cant believe we still dont have the exact coordinates, longitude and altitude of her ass after so many years, what a flop fanbase. Do better!

We could talk even about Tulla Luana and her rants to call centers and shopping malls and whatever else - that'd be much more interesting than Madonna's derrière in 2024...

The only appearance of hers I found truly shocking was I think at Stonewall right before the drop of Madame X, when her butt was so giant I was sure she had some sort of prosthetic in there. The worst possible camera angle was used too.

On a serious note, Music and American Life is the most correct choice. They're literally two sides of the same coin, both american folk sound mixed with techno. MUSIC is baiting the audience with the americana image, and ends up being the more trippy and psychedelic album among the two; AL is the tormented and raging version of the first and ironically puts more on emphasis on the american folk souns rather than the dark electronic vibe of it.
It's actually so fun how both these albums are so united by the similarities in their production, yet end up being the complete opposite thematically. Actually Spacey trippy album with folk vibes for the one promoted with a country yeehaw ass cover, and midlife crisis inspired, traditional folkloristic tales for the album that shows itself as dark and bad and rebel

What's unbelievabe is the lack of any press release about the reissues, for them being either ready to go or postponed / cancelled. Not only that, but the complete lack of mention of this plan since this whole thing even started, silence by everyone and nothing more... Are we sure we didnt collectively hallucinate on the 16th of August in 2021? It actually makes more sense for the Warner announcement to be the illusory manifestation of our delusions and meltdowns if you think about it

Andreo reacted to missberic in Very honestly, has Taylor Swift surpassed Madonna all-around?
If you had said "has Kermit the frog surpassed Madonna all arround?" people would take your thread more seriously. Throwing Taylor's name in this forum is just an opportunity for bitter boomers to hate on her and exchange likes on their comments.
Having said that, the answer is no. Huge impact, but different times and not comparable.

I agree with Music/ American Life.
Though, one of my unpopular opinions is that I wish Music had been a more Confessions style dance album. The style of Music/ Impressive Instant/ Runaway Lover. The switch from Runaway Lover to I Deserve It is the biggest buzz kill.
