Veronica-Electronica got a reaction from Ziploc in Single Reissues Campaign - Causing a Commotion - OUT NOW
I’ve never been a fan of the UK/Europe Into The Groove artwork (featuring the photo of Madonna and Rosanna Arquette). Always preferred the Brazilian artwork instead.
Either way, I don’t think it will matter because I put all my money on it being released to streaming as Angel/Into The Groove as they have done with previous double-a-side releases. If it even gets a digital release at all that is.

I keep hoping that enough time will pass and the “exclusive” nature of the RSD releases is no longer relevant and they will add them to streaming too.
i bought the AL Mixshow EP on vinyl, but I’d love to be able to add the Mother & Father and Easy Ride remixes to my Spotify playlists.

AMEN!!!! I really didn’t like that Roseanna Arquette was on the European Into The Groove cover. That’s why I wouldn’t mind if it didn’t get an individual single release. 😅😅😅

You're probably right, but Into The Groove is such a huge hit. I'd think it would be smart to do something extra special for this release on digital/streaming platforms. Also, it probably would make sense to do so next year when this song hits its 40th Anniversary. And yes, I love this image (which was the back cover of the 12 inch of Angel).

Veronica-Electronica got a reaction from Drownedboy in American Life Single Cliffhanger Problem
Yes, I agree that she seemed to take less risks (or at least, not take as many big risks) after the way AL was received, which is what I love about Madame X. It seemed truly unexpected. And even sonically I can find similarities between the two albums.

I loved AL upon its release, listening to it on repeat. At that time I was so into folk music and electronica and the blend of these genres on this album hit the sweet spot for me, I found it really exciting
Madonna’s run on Ray of Light/Music/American Life/Confessions on a Dancefloor is God-tier for me.
As others have said, Nothing Fails deserved better treatment than it got. A video at least. The American Life and Hollywood videos were so promising. But man, I hated the Love Profusion video. And the packaging design across the singles for AL is pretty chaotic/not cohesive and uninspiring too.
I would have loved to have seen the remix album come to fruition. I guess the Peter Rauhofer memoriam vinyl is as close as we’ll get to that, and I rushed out and bought that on RSD last year.

Are we sure they wanted to release more singles? 4 is quite usual for an album at that time... sure, maybe they would have released one more if the album had been wildly successful, but I think it was just a situation where they wanted to throw stuff to the wall and see what sticks.
Either way, Nothing Fails is the biggest missed opportunity of Madonna's career. She was sitting on gold. I can't get over it, I'll never get over it, and I hope it becomes a posthumous release one day in the far future.
