If the horse incident gave us Confessions on a dancefloor, imagine what she can come up with after the near death experience ♥️

I think Madonna fell off the horse after the recording was finished, she was inbtween the recording of the music and shooting promo material. The songs were definitely written long before the horse incident.

I think the sessions have started some weeks ago, since we've also seen her leaving a studio.

My bet is that the CBT release would be announced by the end of this month and will premiere on a streaming platform during the holidays. And then the new album will drop during Q1 of 2025.

i admire your enthusiasm but no way M works that quick - more swifties pace i think ? it took her nearly 6 months to just edit the MDNA tour dvd and look how crud that turned out ...

that's way too fast..in her most productive days, it took her months and months to finish recording the album, and then another few months to plan the release of the album. Nowadays, the time to prepare the promo might be shorter because she's probably not going with a huge album release campaign.

I think they meant album demo leak by Q1 2025 :Madonna052:

I would say maybe Stuart and her had been messing with stuff for awhile and since they seem to work better one on one, what they’ve been doing may be hush hush until now. Stuart May work very fast. Confessions wasn’t complicated by any means like the last few albums. Even with Mirwais, Madonna might eclipse him in personality and we know her perfectionism drags everything out. Maybe Stuart by passes that. Can’t wait though!

If this is a new album they may have been working on it throughout the tour in some form or another? Didn’t she say in an interview not long back about being bored on tour at times, the repetitiveness, getting on each others nerves. She may have shut herself away with Stu spitballing ideas for a break?

I expect the two were shooting some ideas back and forth during the tour.  I feel that's what was happening during the Re-Invention Tour as well, hence how we got "I Love NY".   It was first included on IGTTYAS which originally was released to MTV in Oct. 2005, a month before COADF was released.  Also, the HOME release DVD/Audio didn't come until June of 2006, after COADF was released.

Also, this might just be one of many people she's schedule to work with for an upcoming album.  Whatever is happening. It's exciting because I honestly believe new music is being worked on here. This is what we all wanted.  :luv:

I'm sure the earliest we can expect a single is Q3 with a Q4 release of an album.

It's about time she debuts something at the end of a year, all her albums after confessions came out spring or early summer. Wanna see how the date changes her sales and overall course of the album on the charts.

And we all know she meets new people and feels inspired to collaborate with them too which always slows down the process. And if Trump is elected again, she might feel the need to flee the country one more time.

It's years away lol we all know how slow she is -  and what about her biopic? Is that now back on the back burner? She won't have time to release an album, promote it  and work on her biopic.

Have you not met Madonna? I’m just playing but, yes she can’t (I don’t think she will) but yes she can. Did it on em.

Last we heard on that is...she was still working on the script.  Until it's approved, it's going to be in limbo.  Meanwhile, like with the tour, she isn't sitting around waiting. She's still carrying on with her music career.  FEL was what prompted her to go on tour. If you recall, right after it was released, she asked on social media if she should tour to support FEL or continue with the Biopic.  She chose tour.  Her Biopic, obviously has a way to go before she can start any production, so now is a good time to start working on a new album. :)

Whatever the case, I would like a musical release that's just her. Some joyous dance music that Madonna, the one and only Queen of Pop, can deliver. Something that gets EVERYONE on the dance floor. Lord knows the world needs it. Musical artists have become so humorless now.

Yeah some upbeat, fun and joyous dance music would be awesome. If anyone could do that it would be Stuart.

Actually if she is going to take some time on this, maybe a Pride release that goes through the northern summer? I can't imagine she would tour again so soon, but as I said before I can't predict anything with her anymore, which is a lot of fun.

Faster than most, but it still took about 5-6 months to record, and then another two months to release.

Plus what happened in 1988/1989 has nothing to do with this. If anything we should be looking at how long Confessions took to make as a guide. Or her last few albums.
