  1. I think the biggest problem with RH was a bit like Bedtime Stories ? Too many producers and difficult to then mould all the songs into one cohesive album ? I think the songwritting was defo there and she did take her time with this one(Unlike the rushed effort of MDNA) its just once again she tried to make r'n'b which i hate anyway(Kanye West ruined all the tracks he worked on) and again lots of people had already worked with Diplo so by the time the album came out his sound - well sounded kind of dated ? For the next album she needs to work with one producer i think and really find that unique producer that no one has used yet - but after the RH disappointment i wonder if she even has the passion to make another album ? i think most fans agree that the demos were better than the released version but i guess because of the leaks she had to kind of change them quite a lot so i feel bad for her in that sense - i wonder what Shep Pettibone is up to these days ???......

Kanye West reworked the tracks WAY before anything leaked. The main reason why she changed direction was because Avicii got severely sick in mid-2014 and she was forced to find other producers to complete her project. (Yes she did mention changing some of the tracks based on fans' reactions on the leaks but she also completely changed Avicii Heart which was her most universally praised record in years so...)

  2. I just don't think it's as creative as MDNA Tour. I know it had lower budget and all that.

Oh it surely wasn't. And M did mention in an interview that RHT would be a mix of her previous tours, and I understand why some may not be fond of that kitchen sink approach. IMO this tour almost feels like a wrapping up of a chapter and I believe her future concerts will be a lot different.

MDNAT was the rushed one, and look at how well it all turned out.  I think MDNAT was the better show but RHT was the better concert, if that makes sense. MDNAT makes your jaw drop, but with RHT you have fun and laughter with her. Oh and the song choices were almost perfect. I melted when she started singing True Blue, when the intro of Deeper and Deeper kicked in, when she surprised us with the acoustic songs, when she belted out Love Don't Live Here Anymore. I don't think any song on MDNAT gave anyone the feeling of "omg FINALLY!!!".

  3. The RHT wasn't rushed, it just had lower budget than her previous tour because 1.)it was an all-arena tour 2.) they knew from the beginning she's not making another $300M with RHT. But it didn't really matter because she made it up with her own charisma. She was the focal point of the entire show, unlike MDNAT when she was basically engulfed by the extravagant spectacles. Oh and the Messiah interlude was BEAUTIFUL. Who cares if it was recycled?

What was great about the tour was its consistency. Every section had their own merits and they're equally great. The only "meh" moments on the show were Devil Pray/SEX/Unapologetic Bitch.

  4. 1. Confessions. Literally PERFECTION. So many iconic moments, beautiful costumes, amazing remixes, spectacular stage etc. To me this is THE magnum opus of her career

    2. Blond Ambition. The definition of ICONIC. 'nuff said. Some of the costumes were a mess though

    3. Rebel Heart. Her warm attitude and interaction is what makes this tour. brilliant song choices too. Production-wise it's a bit underwhelming for a Madonna concert in 2015 but I guess it was intentional since MADONNA herself is the focus of this show.

    4. MDNA. Hands down her best stage production. The middle sections drag way too long and the cheerleader part feels so out of place.

    5. Who's That Girl. Her peak in terms of physicality and dancing. I also love her husky vocals

    6. Re-invention. The geisha section is one of my favorite sets of all time but unfortunately the second half of the show is very forgettable.

    7. Sticky & Sweet. Her most energetic show and the crowds were great. But she looked horrendous in 2008 and that quarterback costume is such an abomination. Borderline/Hung Up/4 Minutes sound AWFUL. I live for the Vogue/4 Minutes mix though!

    8. Girlie Show. I love the setlist but I'm just not a big fan of Dita in general.

    9. Re-invention. Just a few highlights (Vogue, Nobody Knows Me, Lament, Like A Prayer) and everything else is just okay. Awful lighting and stage. I'm still sad that she paid Love Profusion/Intervention/Xstatic Process/Easy Ride dust.

    Haven't watched the Virgin Tour

  5. These are no Madonna standards at all! Very very said to say but it's true! And her bitch I don't care and act like a 20 year old won't help either :( all I see is rebel without a cause, where is the heart in all this?

For Christ's sake the first two singles and their promotional campaigns showcased her "heart" side and all the promo (talk shows, interviews, performances etc.)was very adult-contemporary friendly and demonstrated her vulnerable side, but they did nothing for her commercially.

It's annoying to see fans turning a blind eye on what actually happened throughout this year, acting like the sole reason she's flopping is because she's too rebellious and acting immature simply because they can't handle her current persona. And what "Madonna standards" were you expecting? She's been looking fantastic, gave us three "actual" videos, the most aggressive promo since 1998, and a great record that's received positively by fans and critics. This has been the most exciting year for Madonna fans since 2006 and I just don't get the over-the-top meltdowns for no damn reason.

  6. I already wrote it here, for me she's making mistakes, I don't think to be ageist, but I don't always like her "teenager" mood at all, sometimes I find her myself ridiculous too (I'm sorry), and yet I think she does have a case.

I don't think the point is Drake's reaction or specifically this last episode, but she really recieves every day and for every possible wrong move terrible words and mockery about her age, look, personal choices also, by people and by press.

I don't think you are being ageist and I'm sometimes struggling with her juvenile acts too but we got to think about why we have this presumption of what "age appropriate" mean? Why can't a 56 year old be fun and silly? I do believe a lot of her recent behaviors are intended to provoke and she's trying to a make a statement and it really is the perfect time to explicitly explain her POV with a sit-down interview. She has broken so many boundaries and this "age" one will be her hardest battle because so many people (including some fans) are just not getting her point.
