  1. Yeah I know, but what if they're not hard compressed and just volume boosted? Which is worse because you cut part of the high end/peak? And those ones are before that process. Something I also noticed all 3 have 4 seconds of unnecessary silence at the end which may mean they came from the same remastering session. Anyway it's just a theory, I can't tell it is. Edit: Also if they were new remasters (Like Everybody) they probably should be 24bit, not 16bit. [Sorry for the countless posts XD]
  2. Here's a theory... What if those tracks (excluding the album version) are remastered in 2000/2001 for the remastered reissues and they did 'loud versions' as well for the cds? I mean it makes sense why the Extended remix sounds the same.
  3. I'm really confused, I checked the Extended Remix and it's not the 2001 remaster, though if you boost the volume about +6db it sounds really close (I can tell the same) but it's slightly faster. I don't have the European cd single or any Japanese CD to compare, same with the instrumental. Also strangely Spotify counts the 2012 transfer of album version as the same with the 2001 remaster having the same streams which is not possible as Spotify detects the difference and count the streams as a different track.
  4. @Aiwa08 It's on Qobuz as well... https://www.qobuz.com/us-en/album/true-blue-hi-res-version-madonna/0093624951124
  5. I don't know how much wide this release was but it was on HDtracks.
  6. The album version is the 2012 HD transfer. (Haven't checked the rest yet...)
  7. When I first saw the post pic on Twitter I thought it's a deluxe edition of American Life. 😂
  8. I hope it's not what the new Deluxe edition will be, a compilation of various old random transfers and celebration reconstructions. 😂 It's really odd they chose to release Everybody with new remastered transfers and Borderline with old random ones. What the quality department drinks? (If it exists)
  9. @tscott I just found this specific one: https://www.discogs.com/release/13631641-Madonna-The-Universal and this one: https://www.discogs.com/release/14945989-Madonna-The-Universal-1985-Radio-Broadcast-Recording All released by: https://www.discogs.com/label/1024637-Parachute-Recording-Company Edited: Parent company (or whatever each time) that don't even exists. Leftfield Media "Issues semi legal releases using a hole in the European copyright laws concerning recorded public broadcasts. It should be noted that many of the released recordings are infact audience or soundboard recordings - and no broadcasts as mentioned on the releases."
  10. I may say no, because they already (that bootleg's company) released this one back in 2020 with a different cover and then was taken down soon after.
  11. All these releases are not authorized by Madonna or her team. For some reason they owned the live recordings and they try to make money off of it. It's like those old CD bootlegs.
  12. Thanks. That's really helpful. The Dub it's the same track as the Instrumental on the US 12" promo?
  13. https://vimeo.com/154975951 I found the HD video source on Vimeo. The link is private now but I managed how to get the file... Click to downaload
  14. Is this a film up on cameras? Can't tell for sure.
  15. All the music videos till 2009 where mostly in SD and interlaced (not even progresive) as the music industry started late to that, thanks to YouTube. Of course it depends on the artist and director keeping an HD file and maybe Sorry exists. I haven't checked that HD file in motion though, maybe I'm wrong. I have seen on Vimeo native HD videos from Bjork like Who Is It (2004) and Wanderlust (2007) and then there's videos won multiple awards like Single Ladies that they don't exist in HD. Edit: That's my personal research and knowledge, I can be wrong.
  16. It looks like it's a cropped version from the 'fullscreen' one, also it seems they did the same mistake with Frozen video, they used the native file aspect ratio (I guess (?)). Whoever upscaled these videos doesn't know much about video production (and the industry standards thru the years).
  17. I think the video shot on film though, of course they might have scanned it in HD/2K because that was a standard thing back then but we don't really know if they had exported the video in HD quality as well.
  18. Is this screenshot from the 720p video? I used to have that file but I lost it anyway, If it is, then it's not a true HD file. If you notice down bellow there's a thin black line on the right, that's a line that shows it's from an SD interlaced video. Of course you can upscale a prores 480p or 540/576p SD file into 720p and still look crystal clear. Edit: Also I think the other 576p video is also converted from another prores source because it should have a flag to play inside 4:3 aspect ratio even if it was 5:4 (like the dvd format) on quicktime player.
  19. Also I noticed all her Confessions HD videos are on 25fps.
  20. Let's say they have a 5-6-year plan of Warner album re-releases starting this year. If they're planning releasing the 'expanded' editions in chronological order, on each X0 anniversary, I guess we will still get the remaining singles along with the remastered videos on each album. Like what happened with Erotica. I really hope they're gonna release all the remaining singles digitally soon because having the remastered songs out at the same time is pointless. But I don't think they're gonna add many remixes on each album, probably the best ones to free space for unreleased and rare demos/versions. I expect these albums to come this year... Madonna, Ray of Light, American Life & Hard Candy (Not sure for the latest).
  21. I wonder how long it will take for the new mix based on the demo she teased last month. Maybe she is filming a music video like Frozen and they're editing right now. Idk
  22. I was tempted and tried something on VirtualDJ. :P https://www.dropbox.com/s/v7xak1olqtvr8rk/BTU-E_MU_T.mp3?dl=0
  23. I really love the demo, it's so addictive, I have it on-repeat since yesterday! I'm one of those that don't like the cover art as well, but hey, I don't care if he's a trained graphic designer or not cause it's Madonna's choice. I guess she likes Aldo's style, it's like the third time she hired him right? Anyway I feel awful for him that he can't share his love for Madonna here.
