I don't think she was living in Notting Hill in 1999

Virgin Tour. I've always disliked the You can dance version that was later included on The Immaculate collection. It's a crime to have supressed "Now I know you're mineeee" part, it's the song's climax.

Now Apple owns the charts?? Please. The only chart that counts is Billboard Hot 100, nevertheless it is irrelevant nowadays because Apple took over. Apple can't and doesn't own the music biz. I couldn't care less about Apple and don't have any of its products, so I guess my streamings don't add up to anything.

Flawless indeed. It has aged really well. And let's not forget that she didn't include Who's that girl (#1), Causin' a commotion (#2), True blue (#3), Dress you up and Angel (both #5).
The artwork is outstanding too. And no matter what many say, Q-Sound sounds amazing

Yup. All of this. I’m loving it. Don’t get me wrong, the end product is one of my favorite albums of all time. But there’s something else on these demos.
Yes. There's an spontaneity to them, but then I think any demo from any artist has those same qualities. In Madonnaa's case, her demos are sometimes better than the final versions. And let's not forget that Into the groove IS a demo that was ultimately released.
Which is great about demos is that they bring the possibility of contrast, so both versions can be appreciated differently. We are inclined, I don't know really why, to favour the demos. Maybe is it because we think they're more "real"? Or more "indie"?
IMO, Nothing really matters is melodically better as much as No subtitute for love. Be careful is great. I wouldn't be too sure about the other tracks. She seems uncertain of which direction to take. It's jazzy sometimes.
Thanks a lot for sharing this.

Me neither. I prefer an album with 2 new tracks. There's a patter here: a GH album every 10 years
