carlito76 got a reaction from Pretender1978 in The Next Album: What sounds should she use?
Exactly my thoughts after having seen the video. In fact I even speculated there would be a new song released the following day with one of the instrumentals used. For the rest: Would love that too! :-)

Those songs on the new Vogue DE video were exquisite (except the recycled Girl Gone Wild MDNA Tour audio)

No politics? In this day and age? Come on... As an artist, there is almost a duty to be political with all the shit that's happening. she's not a Walt Disney character.

I'd love to hear something very relaxed, a mixture between acoustic and electric sounds, almost like American Life but softer.
I imagine something like Transister's Stars Collide

I hope she concentrates on lyrics and creates some mature songs. Not that I dislike Bitch I'm Madonna but I'd rather have Drowned World. Her fan base is adult now and needs adult material. You can see it in this forum, where American life is almost everybody's favourite. Rebel Heart seemed to go in the right direction, but then the leaks forced her to hurry things and they screwed up many arrangements, such Joan of Arc, Beautiful scars, even Borrowed time could have been better. Orbit is ok, but she has already done a lot of that, I would like her to use real musicians rather than programmed music. Maybe Patrick Leonard could be helpful!

Looking forward to the acoustic part and the songs posted on this page: Who´s That Girl / La Isla / true Blue / Heartbreak City and I really hope she´s doing La vie en rose everywhere and not just in the french speaking countries.

carlito76 got a reaction from NowRadiate in WHAT the FUCK!
I know I´m gonna be slaughtered for saying this. But honestly.. I think there is not one of the final versions that I like better than the demos. Well..I was one of the few who really liked Illuminati, Holy Water etc.. in their demo form. Wash all over and Rebel Heart have become much weaker, even if I thought they were too much Avicii sounding in the beginning. But I came to love them the way they were. Even the acoustic versions would have been better than this.
The demos were rough at times, that´s true. But they had more "soul", the new versions are completely overproduced IMO. Most of them would be cool remixes but as "regular" versions the demo worked much better for me. I´m still happy though because my new Madonna album will be the demos album and it is great!!
