Knowing her, she won't look for the master without the audio effects and will give us the version released on the Celebration DVD (it's even 'remastered')...

There are no audio effects or dialog in the "Into The Groove" video after the song actually starts. I ripped the audio from the Celebration DVD and listen to it all the time. If you're not into that, it can very easily be recreated from the original version.

Oh. I made the recreation years ago using the Japanese CD-single as a base because I love the sound quality. It's super easy.

Yeah but that’s rather unlikely. At least we‘re getting Causing A Commotion and Cherish this year!

2. Dress You Up (The Dressed Mix - Sped Up)

3. Dress You Up (Super Casual Mix - Slowed Down)

Random but before the internet it mustve been crazy to have been a fan in 85 and if you were lucky come across the japanese single to discover an unreleased song your madonna fan friends had no clue about and them probably begging to record it on cassette for them

I'm a 90s kid so for me it was all about the Spice Girls and nearly shit myself when i saw a single for Mama at Camelot Music at the mall! With Madonna when i became a stan I already had internet access so I already had an idea of what was what but it was still such a blast finding old singles since it took me an hr to download one remix on dialup using AOL lol i miss those days!

The itch to have the audacity of taking the opportunity to message those people at Rhino with links for the Japanese CD Single Collection Boxset + Japanese EPs, with a note saying "Just replace whatever versions you have for this. She's not gonna know, nobody's gonna know. And the people who do notice it are actually gonna love it".

Same here.  When Napster and all those filing sharing programs came along, I was downloading all these mixes and mash-ups I never heard of.  A lot of them were DJ or amateur mixes, but I didn't care, especially of the older songs when they didn't have as many official mixes.  Some of those DJ/amatuer mixes were awful, but there were some kick ass ones there as well.  I remember freaking over this mash up.

From an official source? I've only found (and created) fan-made 'radio edits' recreated from the video clip.

I’m not sure. I definitely wasn’t under the impression it was fan made but could’ve been. Unfortunately it was a few laptops ago so it’s long gone now.

Me too, although most of mine was the 80s and discovering all those remixes I thought I'd never hear again as they were vinyl only. I still collect older CDs, Maxis and promos, I think I am making up with what I couldn't afford or buy as a kid.
