But Katy's performance is literally unremarkable and probably the most uninteresting of the lot. It happened on the same night that Miley performed and she had arguably the most talked about VMA performance of the last 15 years, completely overshadowing every other performance that night.

And I don't even like Taylor, but I still think her performance was overall better than Katy's and probably more remembered in general. And that's not even taking into account that Taylor's massive fanbase should've made this win a no-brainer, while Katy's last 10 fans can't even be bothered to support her music career. You'll never convince me that Katy fans managed to outvote the Swifties, or even the Little Monsters for that matter. The VMAs clearly rigged the award just to hype up Katy's Vanguard Award even more.

    THIS!!!! :clapp:

Plot twist! Fixed was right. They prob gave it to her bc she’s getting the vanguard (and she showed up). Ain’t no way she had enough votes to beat Taylor, Gaga or 03.

That means that it was a waste of time to go around voting, I don't think Katy won by more votes than Taylor and Gaga, even our Madonna, it's obvious that they fixed that victory for her because she's going to get the Vanguard Award and so she would look more "rewarded and pampered".

What a robbery, what a fraud and what a deception! :angryaf:

But at least Katy Perry is not as bad as Taylor and Gaga and she doesn't have a disgusting fandom like the last two mentioned, at least that's our consolation!

  3. This is a very interesting thing! Did you already know this?

    From Discogs:

Side A of disc one was pressed incorrectly and instead plays four unknown Hip Hop songs by another artist instead of "Candy Shop", "4 Minutes" and "Give It 2 Me" as noted in the album's track listing.

  4. Man, Madonna's fan base is not mainly children and teenagers like Taylor Swift's, it is obvious that Madonna would never do something so childish, if she wants to make any reference to the past she already did with The Celebration Tour and if she wants to make any reference to the future, she does it through a publication on her social networks like any normal artist would do, doesn't do "find the Easter bunny eggs" nonsense like your fans are people ages 5 to 17.

I like to add... I don't see anyone denying that it's a song by the Weeknd that Madonna sang on.  I'm sure the song would have done just as well if it didn't have her on it.  However, the point is, SHE IS ON IT!  She made the decision to be part of it.  Her voice is on it, so yes, it's very much her song too. I am not sure why some have to try to downplay her involvement on it just because she's only a feature.  The fact is; she is on it.  She gets credit for being on it, so being it's been quite successful, she deserves credit as well.

And you know damn well if the song tanked, then people would make sure they point out Madonna was part of it, and most likely say it's because she's on it, it failed.  There's no win here. :Madonna033:

Some "fans" are really her worst haters sometimes! :Madonna021:

  7. It's also her first Platinum Certified Single in the US since "4 Minutes" in 2008 and her first Certified Single in the US since "Give Me All Your Luvin'"!!!  :Madonna018:

I have also read some negative and mocking comments that come from supposed "fans", basically they say that the song was never played on the radio, that its sales are inflated and that this certification for Madonna is worthless just because it is a collaboration... Stop being so assholes and be happy about the current success that Madonna is having, collaboration or not, this is something worth celebrating!!!

This is something most of us thought would never happen again: A new hit for Madonna!!! And still certified Platinum!!! This is something to be happy about and recognize his more than 40 years of career!!! :Madonna013:

So shut up and be happy for Madonna please!!! :Madonna026:
