Yeah that's a point actually, the reliable information is the timing of the broadcasting. And yes, I agree @Pedro Beltran, she's got to seriously shorten especially the EY speech. No way she could stay there talking for 7, 8 minutes in Rio

Yeah interesting, also because it's broadcasted live so she's got to be strict. I don't think she's gonna completely cut the speeches, she will surely shorten 'em but the amount of time she could spare by cutting the speeches is about ten minutes not more. From the news surfacing I think we're gonna have real changes ... She rehearsed Music, she wanted Anitta to be on stage (she won't but she was requested to), they say she will perform two or three new songs on the setlist: what if we're not gonna have the last section (the only hit is ROL there) and just a pair of short songs before La Isla/DCFMA and then straight to BIM? In this way, she could sing Live to tell without the flying thing and they won't risk anything with the structure of the stage and the squared elevator in such a different location.

I understand, sorry. Of course thosee are just my feelings about it. I really don't feel E, ITG and BU, I don't like the coreos, the costumes are way too much for me and I also rarely feel the energy at a high level. I like the ITG finale though For me, after NRM, the show starts from OYH and I would not change ANYTHING till BIM. I agree about Music being great, it's my favourite light dance track with Deeper and deeper, Express yourself and Living for love, it's amazing. About the reasons of the final scrap, of course it was about not stressing her body too much, what I was supposing is that if it were too brilliant or essential they could not cut it out. Said that, I'd be happy if she performed it, I don't wanna be misinterpeted about that. It's just that what I read did not convince me, but - you know - it's all just "on paper", nobody ever really watched it so ...

I am honestly a little scared about that section, the cut off one (4 minutes, Back that up, Candy shop and Music). Apparently it was staged like a kind of dance battle between her and the dancers. The weakest parts of the whole show are the first three tracks after NRM and BIM imo. Now we don't know how it worked actually BUT I'm not sure about an entire section of dancey numbers (with strong and got up to speed coreos she is still excellent though, she's still got it - in Hung up or Don't tell me for example). What we know is that the tracks were not that incredible and she cut it off so maybe not the most convincing part of the show. You know wich song rehearsed till a very few weeks before the debut night I would really love to see staged? Oh father ... and of course I really can't see it happening

Don't say sorry man we're here to play. And I'm gonna play telling you that I can't see the excluded set getting back in full form. Also because the tracks were not major hits except Music and 4 minutes. I can see Music finally happening though and I hardly imagine M closing a huge beach party with over 1 million people with a ballad. I get your point and it could have worked in arenas actually. I think she will leave the stage with the Celebration outro in Rio anyway ... or with a bigger banger.

You had my same idea music - we know she rehearsed it (maybe a kind of Faz Gostoso moment with Anitta, someone wrote she is reported as a gueststar on Globo tv or somewhere similar) and, yes, when will she ever have another chance like this to launch the Max Martin track? Said that, about me, I use to dare speculations quite often because I never get that disappointed if things don't get real. I'm lucky, I just get the fun of it. I've been profoundly disappointed in other cases though tbt. Listening to Hard Candy for example or to MDNA, those were really bad moments.

Ok apparently a Rio event producer revealed that Madonna will sing in Copacabana 2 or 3 MORE songs than she has been singing on the tour. The rehearsals should take place in the 5 halls of the Copacabana Palace! So, if true, not just the Music performance coming (I can't help but being super excited for the live broadcasting, the last time I saw one of her shows live on tv I was 22 ) And YES Mexico, the friday night show still is the LAST proper Celebration Tour performance, Copacabana is more like a worldwide live event to close the tour 10 DAYS TO GO!! (this is the exclusive merch by the way ... I don't know if it was already shared)

I agree about a plausible album in the works and the possible need to finish it and add tracks about her recent experiences, but I would prefer a 11-13 properly selected tracks form this time. Without any bitching kind of shit, I mean we've been there so many times at this point I really don't need it anymore Let's hope not, let's really hope not. 2024 is honestly too optimistic imo, still possible around Christmas but honestly too positive, 2025 feels fine and acceptable, 2026 is really too much: that would mean 7 YEARS AFTER MADAME X

Agree, the coreo is not that cool then imo. I mean it can be felt as a nice tribute, but when you present the Hung Up disco routine, the cowgirl steps or the vogueing poses you don't need to ask cause it's simply cool to do

As PERFECT, emotional and gracefully sounding are the executions of EY and LIB, as completely out of key and messy is the DCFMA one we need to take care of this in Rio

Absolutely agree, as I wrote in my post I do love it too, this is so effective it could also be a proper blueray cover, getting the whole celebratory intention and feeling of the show. Even if about effectiveness, from the recent weeks, this one still remains unparalleled for me

I see, it's possible: let's hope so. Frozen would definitely also fit the section, both visually and in terms of sound. It would also maybe be the most clever choice for a full hits package, especially if she is really adding a more complete Music version in Rio. With EY, Frozen and Music the setlist is basically her whole biggest hits catalogue, fully performed or quoted (like Material girl in the intro or PDP for the BA tribute). Frozen was NOT out of place, NOT boring as hell and was always SANG WELL. Of course Rain still remains my favourite one in terms of beauty of the song, vocal quality and effectiveness (it's the song where the opening slow dance with the caped figure, the wind effect and the finale worked better imo and I found the association with the Frozen imaginary creative and coherent at the same time, very Madonnesque). Let's just put the TAB nonsense as a bouns I will watch once in my whole life then EDIT PS - let's not completely forget the third option of a TOD third and last documentary chapter (wich I would not be particularly curious about honestly). I mean, the live broadcasting, redited for a second release, and after six months the hits 40 years of career celebration tour documentary is still a possibility imo.

Yeah, I did not watch all the clips but the EY performance and the NRM opening (two of my favourite numbers of the show) really sound amazing, the roar of the crowd at her appearence on the stage was so powerful and full of excitment, of love, that I even got emotional I agree, this is certainly among the best nights of the tour and we are lucky it's been recorded. Said that, this is the most encouraging post from the last pages for me. Sorry people , I really can't overcome the TAB change Now, if they recorded the whole tour she could use Rain for the official release ... let's not forget that just the audience of these Mexico nights are warned they agree about the possible use of their image in the recording by attending the show though. Or, producing two pro recording (Rio live and the usual super-edited "movie" release), she could go with some different song choices and, in that case, there would still be hope for Rain in Copacabana So, even if a little heartbroken, I'M STILL GOING #copacabanaforrain
