  1. Ricardo Gomes ANNONCES ON HIS INSTA AN "UNEXPECTED SURPRISE COMING NEXT WEEK!!!"
  2. Ok guyz, Ricardo Gomes on his Insta stories announces an "UNEXPECTED SURPISE COMING NEXT WEEK"! And the whole thing starts to become a concrete possibility
  3. Honestly? When it comes to old stuff, I'd go with the artistic rape (sorry M)
  4. The M's William Orbit vault (from his Instagram, caption "I recorded EVERYTHING baby" ... and I would listen to it ALL baby)
  5. Burning up And now, considering the moment, I can't help but asking ... RAIN OR TAKE A BOW? (#copacabanaforrain)
  6. I don't know what you mean by TLDR honestly Here's a recap of what's happening anyway (probably in our hopes mostly): Deezer Brazil released this contest promo for her Copacabana show, using ten seconds of a track wich is not a M's known track, it's not recognized by Shazam and it's got a very 80s sound, as Max Martin described the track he worked on with M. Said that, it went out that the doowie doowa thing is from a 2013 russian band track called Las Vegas Now if the the vocals could be hers is controversial, the production of the 10 seconds Deezer snippet is definitely different than the Mr Credo one. So is Deezer uncomprehensibly promoting M with a 2013 russian band track remix or are they teasing the much awaited Max Martin's single wich will close with a bang the Celebration era?
  7. Are we hoping for the tour finale big surprise having M debuting her summer single live on the 4th of May? IF that sample is not the original russian thing, M's stuff surely has to know it's being used for that teaser ... I'm honest, I hope for something totally different musically but this track's got such a summer vibe that, if it's really the Martin's single, I can see why she did not released it in October and waited all this time. I have to say that the Deezer snippet sounds like her to me, but the voice is filtered and it's just 10 secs of doowi doowa
  8. Oh my God, really? It all seemed to be going so well on stage till a few concerts ago ...
  9. Just read part of the conversation. The AC dries and most of all irritates the mucous and is dangerous for the vocal cords, wich are tendon membranes, and the throat health. This is a fact. Now we are talking of a 65 years old woman here, who is travelling the world since October. I did not find long videos to understand how rude she was, but I read she's been going on asking for some care since OYH uselessly and she quite probably asked for it also in her costumes changes, considering how important this thing is for herr. So, after more than one hour, a preoccupied person, who's also maybe starting to feel the effect of the thing, can get angry. So my point is, even if she lost her control at the end, it's a mature person politely asking for some attention without any response and at a certain point demands respect. PS - oh, till the the 4th of may I'm gonna close my posts with the hashtag #COPACABANAFORRAIN, it's a not violent demonstration supporting the right of Rain to be part of the setlist, peace
  10. Of course of course, I was joking You know, just took the chance for the unpeteenth unrequested and quarrelsome post against the Take a bow setlist twist (#copacabanaforrain !!!!! ) Good pic from last night show by the way
  11. Yeah well, I mean, silenced at her Take a bow performance ... it prooves it was intentional imo
  12. I don't think she wants to make herself look better, I think she wants to tell her own idea of herself and it's legitimate and right. Of course she's got the right to do it. I was saying that not every artistic activity is suitable for her talents at the same level and according to specific languages and markets, maybe this time they're having problems. We don't know what the contract said about her right to influence the director work herself, cause she ended up trying to direct it herself. She was very clear about her determination to tell her own point of view (once again absolutely legitimate). The point is something did not work with the producers, her vision was not interesting for them.
  13. I didn't know about this of cours it didn't work then: how can a man who falls for Mariah properly tell M's story it's an horrific prospective. I think a point can be that she is not a screen writer , she's an interesting story teller imo, but her taste and vision are not declinable in every art field with the same quality, I think it's normal. My idea is that she wanted to make her movie in a way that doesn't necessarily works on the big screen and was not intended to make big compromises. In this sense I used the word "fix", like "finding solutions, managing creative problems". I remember reading about the excessive lenght of the first script, M also asked to the fans what they thought about a series during a live Q&A on Instagram. After the first stop, they tried to rework it with a second writer and it did not work again. I agree ayway, she was definitely tired, decided to get back to her career and her reasearches and the going back to memories could nicely have inspired her. There's the Warner contract also, wich guide is quite tangible imo and very interesting to see how will evolve, the strategy they're building to get her the respect she deserves back. I'm positive this tour is also part of that plan and the next step will be new music. Maybe something is already shaped in their minds or it could be getting back to the studio and create something new in the next winter .
  14. Oh this movie thing The scariest thing I read in the recent months was that part of the reason she is touring is to autoproduce the movie herself. Now don't panic everybody, the source was a second hand one at the moment, not necessarily reliable (said that, we can see this coming right? M writing, directing and producing a biopic on her own story, wich an Academy Awards nominee and a winner one were not able to fix and already twice rejected by long term movie producers ... taking eons to be realized and released of course) EDIT: sorry whoever is hoping for this to happen, the thing is I'm still traumatized by the whole W.E. russian bodyguard-pianist-living in a super fancy Manhattan loft rescue relationship with a domestic violence victim woman, who felt to search for the real meaning of love in buying at Sotheby's Simpson's memorabilia, among dramatically embarassing dialogues and a perfume commercial aesthetic imaginary (the real couple storyline was much better though).
  15. Oh how many memories ... don't make me get sentimental
  16. Yeah but it's funny and cute in a way, I love this to happen As I love this Atlanta ROL pic
  17. I adore this woman being photographed by fans, just because M looked at her bush when they were at school together, what a lovely world we live in
  18. Honestly, I'd like to have the majority of these tracks played live but, except Lucky star, Material girl, Papa don't preach, Frozen, Music and maybe a pair more, especially today, after 20, 30 years since their charts performances, it would not sound as a proper hits tour. I think she did a pretty good job and she could use the missing hits to build her next show, based on new material and then, maybe, close it all with a final farewell tour (I mean, in ten years she's gonna be 75, we need to be prepared this is gonna happen sooner or later).
  19. I think we can expect a pro release of the show in autumn. Considered she is broadcasting it from Rio I don't see her making an infinite editing this time, unless it's gonna be a doc. Something like the last chapter of the TOD trilogy (1990, 2004, 2023) but reflecting on the whole journey this time, on the meaning of the show as the tale of these 40 years. In this case it's going to take more time and it could see the light in the spring 2025. After that I hope she is going to release new music, not before 2025 anyway. An album would be awesome, but also an EP would be great: the only thing I need is REAL music, nothing Tokishesque or too GWOOORLIE. Hi The Weekend
  20. I don't know if it's been shared, but this is an excellent quality video of the IDSIF backdrop, if fanmade it's incredibly weel done, the audio is from a fan recording though.
  21. Is she in a bad mood? I'm not followiong much anymore sorry ... I hope she is fine anyway (yaeh, seven months on the road at 65 are definitely not an easy task, I mean she went on saying "I'm not gonna do this again" in her 30s and her tour were much shorter - 40, 45 shows - than this one). Said that, I'm connecting to share this great pic from Dallas
  22. The guy who takes her from the chair in Open your heart, this is his second tour afterr Madame X
