She's ALREADY CERTIFIED its that her Wikipedia page doesn't count her sales awards under her awards.
All the other female pop artists have their sales awards under their awards
Take Cher including her sales awards she's at over 400 awards but she only has 1 Grammy, NO American Music or MTV awards, 1 People's Choice, a few Billboard awards, Madonna has 39 etc. It's because somebody counted her sales certification awards. Madonna would be well over 600

Right? I mean between the US and UK, Madonna has over 100 sales certification awards alone, with just those TWO countries!
Even Cher has her sales certification awards listed and included on her list of Cher Awards Wikipedia page

Wikipedia has Madonna listed aa having won 312 awards her career but UNLIKE everyone else in pop, they don't count her certification awards on their Madonna's awards page
Counting her certification awards, Madonna has won something like 600 awards in her career. Probably the MIST AWARDED FEMALE ARTIST EVER, Whitney is named that by the media but that's because the Wikipedia awards page on Whitney also COUNTS her certification awards, while Madonna's DOES NOT. And the media goes by that, including her certification awards Whitney has awon over 500 awards, Madonna should be at iver 600
Some superfan should update her awards page with her sales certification awards country by country

NEITHER Trump nor Hillary were good Presidential choices but I don't hate either of them.
But like Madonna, BOTH have had the media twists things about that and present FALSE information to the masses
Also like Hillary and Trump, Madonna is an EXTREMELY divisive figure. All three are capatalists and love making money though.

Reducing the whole thing to "Madonna suffered racism" is incredibly dismissive of the MUCH bigger picture. I do feel bad for her, and I will defend her ALWAYS when she's being targeted but if we're gonna discuss real things, let's make real arguments.
If you wanna believe the majority can be racially victimised, ok, fair enough I suppose, but that type of racism would never be anywhere near the calibre of the racism suffered by minorities. Which is mostly about constant microaggressions at all levels of society and culture on a daily basis from the moment of birth, which the majority does not experience.
So I guess Michael Jackson being as big as he was in the 80s no less was just a mass delusion?

You can't be serious? Look at Michael Jackson who was BLACK and the ONLY pop artist who has accomplished just as much if not MORE than Madonna

American Life wasn't a flop. It was a disappointing seller and it underperformed at 5 million worldwide, 1 million in the US, but not an all out flop
I mean it went to #1 in virtually every major country.
A flop would be the worldwide sales of Janet, Mariah, Britney, Gwen, Christian's last few albums.

RH sold 1.2 million despite leaking in full 6 months in advance and ended up among the top 40 selling albums of 2015. If it never leaked it probably would have equaled the 2 million worldwide sales
of MDNA
Prince released TWO albums in 2015 and they both debuted at like #40 on the charts

Madonna is actually lucky that she had two decades of success and relevance, her record label made sure she took just the right amount of breaks, not releasing the same album over and over again as some of her contemporaries etc. These days she seems to be on the same level Prince was in the past decade, trying hard to score a hit but radio does not touch her, she has to perform the same hits on tour to make sure the audience is there for the next one. It's not like albums sell much these days but it was widely assumed her fans would continue to buy her physical releases. It didn't happen despite multiple editions. Let's not forget she wanted to release a double album most likely to be free of her contract, so it's anyone's guess how her artistry is going to flourish if the corporate factor is no longer supporting her.
Madonna had THREE decades if success the 80s,90s and 2000s where she was the 3rd top selling act of that decade worldwide aster only Eminem and Britney. The #3 top touring artist if the 2000s and the #1 selling singles artist in both the US and worldwide of the 2000s.
