  1. Let's hope we got correct and up-to-date information. I want Oh Father so badly
  2. I wanna hear songs she didn't perform that much. But I still love Candy Shop and Like A Prayer. I don't like Express Yourself.
  3. Human Nature may not be the best of BS (Sanctuary is the best for me), but it's a manifesto. Killer production, crazy rhythm. I loved it at Madame X. She will definitely perform it. By the way, I want to see the videos. If anyone has them, please send them to me!
  4. I had seen a list of songs she rehearsed at the end of May, and Get Together wasn't on it (other two COADF songs were present). If she performs Get Together, I can die happy.
  5. I can't contain my excitement for Stuart Price's musical direction either, but I tend to agree with @steady75. It's a real shame. As for what you're saying, I've always heard the live drums. During the Confessions Tour, they were prominent, especially in the rockier songs, and the same goes for DWT and RIT. The drummer really shone during the Sticky & Sweet Tour. I remember how incredible he was in the outro of Pantera's "Hung Up." Impressive, to say the least. The same goes for other songs. Even during MDNA and RHT, I could hear the drums in many songs, especially in the surprise songs during the RHT. It's the element that was missed the most during the Madame X Tour. It almost looks like an outtake from the backdrop of Justify My Love from the MDNA Tour. But it also looks like she has an electric guitar in her hand.
  6. I'm sorry that there's no live band. There has always been one in all of Madonna's tours, except the Madame X Tour (where its absence was notably felt, especially with the percussion). However, on the other hand, I'm glad that the musical director is Stuart Price. He did an excellent job in the DWT, RIT, and CT1. Every arrangement was well-crafted, original, and featured crazy samples (Music starting with a Kraftwerk sample, wow!). So, I can overlook the absence of a band. I wonder who the guitarist will be if Monte is not there. You got to be kidding 😂 "Professional"? I saw her playing with CDJs and I can use them as well as she does. And I'm not a DJ. Hope she hires real musician. Mercy is ok as a piano player, but the twins? Hell no
  7. Are you telling me that Monte Pittman no longer works with her? And that he is a COVID and vaccine denier? I had no idea. I've always ADORED Pittman. He made her play "A New Level" by Pantera, made her do fantastic things with the guitar. And he's a great guitarist; I like how he plays. What a shame.
  8. I don't give a damn about it. I'm just saying that since we don't know for sure if she still has it, I can see a bunch of people freaking out if she still has it. So, it's better to consider this possibility, since many of us are wondering how her "new body" looks.
  9. That dude in a tee and her sporting those Moon Boots I rock when it's cold up in the mountains, lol I have no clue what her 'new body' is like. From a bunch of pics, it seems like she might've ditched that fake booty, but I reckon she might still have it. We'll find out in 3 days, though!
  10. I'd totally love it if Madonna could do something like she did during the Rebel Heart Tour, where she performed acoustic or on-the-fly request songs... also not requests, just as she did in RHT: Take A Bow wasn't a request; she just rehearsed it few times and decided to sing it. Of course, during the Rebel Heart Tour, the requests were songs she had already practiced, but they were rehearsed pretty quickly, maybe even just the day before.
  11. Personally, I'm totally in love with her take on "Between The Bars." The one she did during the secretprojectrevolution presentation was good but not perfect, it was quite obvious that she took a lot from Chris Garneau (the arrangement was almost identical). It might have been a tad too dramatic, considering the song's about alcohol addiction, not a passionate, desperate cry. Her 2013 cover was more of a great vocal performance that made her shine rather than a spot-on and unforgettable interpretation. But the version she performed at the first Tears Of A Clown show had a different vibe - it was more contemplative and melancholic (plus, I adore it when she sings in her mid-low chest range). It was more acoustic and closer to Elliott Smith's original rendition. Personally, I thought that version was absolutely splendid. Unforgettable. I'm usually not big on artists covering songs, but every now and then, a well-executed and unique cover adds a fresh twist to a track and becomes part of the artist's own repertoire.
  12. She started to begin the shows late especially from the MDNA Tour era. Before that, her delays were normal in the music industry
  13. I'm not a big fan of "Who's That Girl," but the acoustic version performed at the Rebel Heart Tour was pretty cool! Anyway, the info DrownedMadonna is giving matches what I heard back in late May. It's probably info that came out around that time. It could be that a lot has changed since then, though. But I don't think the opening and closing songs will be changed, unless her illness has completely shaken up the setlist. Opening: NRM Closing: BIM + Celebration?
  14. "In 'Beat Goes On,' she consistently made mistakes in nearly the same spots: 'time/mind/far.' During the 'Blonde Ambition Tour,' she sang with more constriction, but her pitch was generally better
  15. I think there's a reason why she used autotune extensively throughout the MX Tour, from start to finish. If all goes well, we might get a vocal preparation similar to what we saw during the Rebel Heart Tour, where she was in better shape than in the two previous tours.
  16. I strongly disagree. In S&S Tour, despite her voice was still young, she experienced one of the lowest points in her singing career. Her worst tour, vocally. On BAT she lacked solid technique, but her musical ear and vocal instinct made her more precise in her notes. As a singer and vocal student, I've come to recognize her recurring technical issues, such as breath control, note approach from a low perspective (which makes her flat), and support problems. Consequently, when she performs nowadays, I expect to see where she'll go wrong and how she'll go wrong. And I'm almost always right However, if she's diligently worked with a vocal coach, there's still potential for her to shine. Her voice hasn't deteriorated beyond redemption; it simply requires thorough preparation to deliver a decent performance. So, I hope the folks at DrownedMadonna are right... otherwise, I hope she uses some playback to avoid the kind of awkward vocal moments we've witnessed in recent years.
  17. I hope Madonna lip-syncs rather than giving us really bad vocal performances. I mean, she doesn't have a good technique anymore and I think her vocal chords are damaged too. Sometimes she can't even stay on beat or hit the right notes. I'm thinking about her performance with Maluma, and that disastrous show in Harlem in 2021 where she sounded awful... And during the Madame X tour, she used autotune on almost every song (even on some parts of 'Frozen'). I hope she either gets herself together and practices with a voice teacher, or she makes smart use of playback, maybe with some pre-recorded parts (but not the studio version), like she did during 'Celebration' on the MDNA Tour. Or she could just lip-sync the whole song like she did with 'Vogue' at the Reinvention Tour or the MDNA Tour.
  18. It would've been absolutely epic if Madonna had hired them for the Celebration Tour. All the fans cherish their memory because they were her longtime backup singers. They not only sang but also danced alongside her, forming this iconic trio. After them, Madonna never had backup singers with such a major presence in her shows. It wasn't until the Confessions Tour when there was only Donna left, still rocking the stage with her. But after that, it was pretty much crickets on the backup singer front, they were just backup singers and not very present on stage with her.
  19. Maybe she has two performances ready and needs to cut one out, so she wants to see which of the two songs is mentioned more often. Typically, before tours, she rehearses a lot of songs and then gradually selects which ones to include, going through two or three rounds of narrowing down.
  20. They were really close friends, always together. It's clear that something must have happened if they don't even greet each other anymore. I heard something happened that made Madonna feel betrayed. And, well, I never really liked her anyway. She's ignorant, anti-vax, close to HIV-AIDS denialists, and a follower of pseudoscientific therapies and practices. Madonna would probably have a laugh knowing that Paltrow does coffee enemas to cure every illness.
  21. I don't know if anybody posted this video before: https://www.tmz.com/2023/08/31/madonna-exercise-bicycle-health-major-illness-celebration-tour/ It looks like the butt is still there, but who cares. She looks great!
  22. This list is a dream. But I write it anyway Madonna - Kraftwerk Like a Virgin - Nile Rodgers True Blue - Brian Eno Like a Prayer - Patrick Leonard Erotica - Marius de Vries Bedtime Stories - Moby Ray of Light - Massive Attack Music - Air American Life - Rick Nowels Confessions on a Dance Floor - Depeche Mode (Martin Gore) Hard Candy - Dallas Austin MDNA - Mark Ronson Rebel Heart - Flying Lotus Madame X - James Blake
