  1. To be fair, "Rebel Heart" gave us 25 official released songs and "Madame X" 18. That's worth 3 albums of her 11-12-13 tracks standard pre-"MDNA". And "MDNA" gave us 16! But yeah, a new single is due already. If she's not ready for the album she can go the singles route like everyone else.

  3. It's like that too on the 1996 Japanese CD Singles box. I think the single/radio edit was an early fade with some extra boost, it sounds punchier than the album version somehow... don't know how to explain. They're the same but they're not the same xd By the way, we have a new cool cute official promo for the digital single: https://www.instagram.com/p/C5lYL8frQbG/
  4. Not Apple, it's Warner/Rhino. I don't know, they're basic yes, but it's good they're doing them cause it means they care a little bit. But yep, "Immaculate" and "ROL" were better than this new four. For comparison, Alanis' animated covers: https://music.apple.com/nz/album/jagged-little-pill-2015-remaster/1715762264 https://music.apple.com/nz/album/supposed-former-infatuation-junkie/1051409613 https://music.apple.com/nz/album/unplugged-live/1051418901 https://music.apple.com/nz/album/under-rug-swept/1051406378 https://music.apple.com/nz/album/so-called-chaos/1051422510 Other artists: Dua Lipa: https://music.apple.com/nz/album/radical-optimism/1734980417 Spice Girls: https://music.apple.com/nz/album/spice/723398173 Ariana Grande: https://music.apple.com/nz/album/eternal-sunshine-slightly-deluxe/1735162193 They're always very hit or miss, IMO, cause they depend on the original main cover and its elements (and of course how much they wanna bother with them).
  5. I also hate the 2024 remaster of "Material Girl" with all my guts. "Angel" EP debut numbers on Spotify (first 24 hours): "Into The Groove" is matched with the "Celebration" version, so don't pay attention to that one. Not bad for a forgotten 1985 single that only hardcore fans know it's now on streaming. If only these ones had a little bit more of promo, like they did in the past when they first the singles reissues. But at least we're getting them slowly bur surely.
  6. To be fair it's something Warner/Rhino is doing for all their major back catalogue releases, I know Alanis got her animated covers for the first international albums last year or a couple of years ago max. So now it's M's turn.
  7. This is a little cute thing, it was commented briefly on other topics I think. Apple Music has animated covers for some albums, to help marketing them and offer something different from other streaming services. They're visible on the album page and also on the player on iOS 17. They come from the label, not Apple. So the label has to send them. Sometimes they're cooler and others quite basic. Warner two first Madonna animated covers were for "The Immaculate Collection", when they released the Dolby Atmos mix and "Ray Of Light", on one of the anniversaries (last year I think?). https://music.apple.com/nz/album/the-immaculate-collection/80812428 https://music.apple.com/nz/album/ray-of-light/952887 This week they've added animated covers for Madonna's first four studio albums, little more basic but still good: "Madonna": https://music.apple.com/es/album/madonna/80815644 "Like A Virgin": https://music.apple.com/es/album/like-a-virgin/80815235 "True Blue": https://music.apple.com/es/album/true-blue/80815611 "Like A Prayer": https://music.apple.com/es/album/like-a-prayer/83448003 Could this be a sign of something else coming soon (reissues, etc.)? Not necessarily. But good they're paying attention to things.
  8. It's at the end of that video. The ad linked to a "Madonna Essentials" playlist on Apple Music (that one is like "This Is Madonna" on Spotify).
  9. As usual, the "Angel" digital release is charting worldwide on iTunes: Not that it means that much these days but always good to see and pure sales are always good profit.
  10. "Don't Go For Second Best Baby: Best Of #2s". She has like a million #2 hit singles in the UK.
  11. You always repeat the multitracks thing, but "remastering" doesn't necessarily mean going back to the multitracks, even though that can be obviously the best way to do it (it can completely change the original sound too, so you can never win, I know albums remastered from the multitracks that are a good job but change a lot from the originals, different backing vocals, etc. It can be messy or just different). Technically, remastering is: to make a new master (= a recording from which all copies are made) of an earlier recording, usually in order to produce copies with better sound quality https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/remastering So anything you do to enhance the old recording, even if it's just boosting the volume, can be considered remastering, whether you - or we - like it or not.
  12. Exactly. Maybe a proper 2022 FEL remaster exists and they wanted to put it here but they've wrongly taken the 1985 master anyway. In any case, a 2022 remaster would sound very loud compared to the rest of the 1985 master tracks on this release. Remaster all or none of them at all. But damn, now I want a FEL 2022 remaster of that remix if it exists!
  13. This is giving me: Joking. Glad she make it through the 3 shows! Now an earned 5 days rest and then Austin, Mexico... and Rio!
  14. Well, Deezer Brazil is one of the sponsors of the Rio show: So that snippet could actually be new music... Don't wanna get excited cause usually all these things end up being nothing but sounds cool and everything we want and need from her.
  15. It's a mistake anyway, it's the original master on the new digital single. My bet is the Remix Edit of "Angel" was considered and remastered for "Finally Enough Love" but not used in the end and it was going to be included here now but they've put the original.
  16. It's definitely the 1985 version in the Apple Music NZ preview.
  17. Stadiums live is a miserable experience, though, you're far anyway if you're not front row floor. But work great filmed xd Curious to see how this tour will be adapted in Rio. Arenas is the best experience IMO.
  18. Yep, it's a simply an early fade edit of the album version.
  19. Just "Angel", makes sense cause anyway "Into The Groove" was its B-Side in the US - even if it ended up being bigger. No one knows why some are remasters and others are not, life is a mystery and these releases are too xd I repeat myself but I'll always prefer the originals. The 2024 remaster of "Material Girl" is terrible, you can't ever hear the iconic slap sound there. The 2022 one on "Finally Enough Love" was good, though.
  20. "Angel" digital single out in NZ! 1:30 audio previews: https://music.apple.com/nz/album/angel-ep/1739865251 They're all the original masters I think, even the "Extended Edit" tagged as 2022 Remaster. That tag must be a mistake. A blessing listening to the original "Into The Groove" album version with its original mastering (and almost demo punk quality) and not boosted to hell like it is on the 2009 "Celebration" remaster!
  21. Cool! Let's check the audio previous in an hour on Apple Music NZ :-) "Angel (Extended Dance Mix Edit) - 2022 Remaster"... makes me thing it was actually considered and remastered for "Finally Enough Love" but left out in the end!
  22. They had the chance to fix the "Holiday" 3:51 edit version when they updated the album around the same time the "Borderline" digital single was released: they fixed "Borderline" with the proper album version instead the extended but left the "Holiday" edit untouched, probably cause it's one of her most streamed songs - 104M, while the original 6-minute album version on the "Celebration" album is 79M.
  23. She's amazing and we should be so proud of her. That's all I'm saying after watching her speech from last night. What a woman.
  24. Her issue was with the venue people/organizers, not with her own team.
